This doctor was terrific!
First time visit. The Dr warmly greeted us and proceeded to explain my problem after listening closely to my explanation of why I had the appointment. He answered every question i had and explained the options for treatment. He worked on my hand and gave me a timeframe of what to expect and if that did not get better, i should return.

I was referred over to Dr. Luther by the ER doctor, and I can see why. Excellent medical office, extraordinary and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Luther taking the time to go over the diagnosis and explaining his recommended treatment to get back to 100%. Deepali and her team were outstanding during the physical therapy. I broke my wrist on August 8th, had surgery on August 16th, and was hitting a baseball out of the park by the end of December. I highly recommend Dr. Luther and Deepali.

I was very pleased with Dr. Luther and his staff. He did surgery on both my hands for carpal tunnel. Explained everything in easy to understand detail. He spends plenty of time with you and is very thorough with answering your questions. The whole process went smoothly from the initial consultation to the follow up appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Luther and have actually referred a couple people already. Dr. Luther does not disappoint!!

This summer I decided to face the numbness/tingling/burning in my hands after five years of denial. I am grateful my journey led me to consult with Dr. Luther. He and his staff met me with compassion and competence, taking time to answer my questions and educate me about endoscopic carpal tunnel release. Dr. Luther is that rare mix of a brilliant surgeon and a kind, caring man. After surgeries on both wrists, a month apart, I am free of the troubling symptoms and am gaining strength and mobility in my hands. My souvenirs are two tiny scars. I can recommend Dr. Luther without reservation.

Couldn't be happier. Was dealing with severe carpal tunnel syndrome for years... two months after first meeting Dr. Luther, I've had a surgery performed on both hands, and I'm 90% healed already. Had a pretty wide range of movement just days after each surgery. His bedside manner is fantastic, and his entire staff was wonderful. He's a Patriots fan, but nobody's perfect.

Dr. Luther is one of the best doctor's I have ever had. He is professional and his protocol led to an early release from further therapy - way ahead of schedule. I would recommend him to anyone - truly one of our brightest and gifted young Orthopedic surgeons.

Dr. Luther IS THE BEST !! He worked with me concerning Bi-Lateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He was incredibly PROFESSIONAL, VERY ATTENTIVE, a GREAT LISTENER (remembers every detail of a conversation) and walked me through every step explaining every detail of what we can do to alleviate my pain and suffering. He has a GREAT PERSONALITTY to boot !! Not pretentious or arrogant as too many Doctors are today. I HIGHLY AND EMPHATICALLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING an Ortho. !!!! BTW, his Staff ? TOP SHELF !!

Dr Luther and his staff are phenomenal! I had a fractured wrist and he made it like new again. I followed his instructions and now have full use of my wrist. Even the scar from my surgery is minimal. Definitely an excellent surgeon! He always took time with me on my visits and answered all my questions. Would refer him to anyone needing an ortho consult or surgery.

I needed a wrist repaired after a break and a different orthopedic surgeon rebroke and repaired it unsuccessfully. Dr Luther LISTENED to my problem, had me do the testing then EXPLAINED exactly what he would do. He answered all my questions, sometimes more than once, until I understood and was very comfortable with what was going to happen with surgery. I not only recommend him to a friend but would send my mother to see him. Thank you Dr Luther.

2020 was quite a year for all of us and especially difficult for my 16 year old daughter. She is a very competitive athlete and was sidelined with a dislocated wrist due to her Ulna having grown too long. Dr. Luther performed a very scary bone shortening surgery on her. From the first time we met him and his team to the last visit 6 months later, they treated us so well. They are all so very friendly and helpful and extremely patient with all my questions. Her arm is perfect now and 2021 looks to be a wonderful year Thanks to Dr. Luther and his wonderful team.

I couldn't imagine a better interaction with a surgeon. From our initial introduction resulting from an accidental cutting of my wrist, including a nerve and tendon, though the surgery and follow-up care, Dr. Luther answered all of my questions (and wife's), giving us clear explanations of the problems, planned actions and risks. My hand and wrist has recovered with 100% of its full function.

Dr. Luther exceeded my expectations in all facets of care. He, along with his team exhibit an excellent balance of care, empathy, understanding, knowledge that puts one at ease during the entire process. As a 60 year old very active, athletic male who had never encountered a need for surgery or experienced a broken bone, finding out that I had totally ruptured my tricep tendon was quite jarring. Upon the first consult with Dr. Luther many of my anxieties were put to ease although it was still a situation of facing the unknown. I highly recommend Dr. Luther and team; especially if you are in need of a surgeon who is very patient and compassionate to his patients.

Dr. Gaurav is a wonderful doctor! He is caring, patient, and extremely skilled. I injured an elbow which required surgery. I am so thankful that he was the doctor on call. I could have spent days looking up doctors and not have gotten a better surgeon. I believe I got the best with him. I had hardly any pain at all following the surgery or during my recovery. And he repaired me to where I have full use of my arm and elbow as if the injury never occurred. If I ever require surgery again, I would want him for the surgeon.

Each visit with Dr. Luther, and the people who work with him was a pleasure. Had a pretty bad break in my finger which he repaired. After the surgery I saw him in 3 different offices. Dr. Luther was a delight to work with. Furthermore, every interaction I had at each of 3 different offices: from the Office Admins, the X-Ray Techs, the Nurses and Nurse Assistants was a pleasure. His Medical Assistant--Debbie L is your friend--you will love her. Additionally, the Urgent Care at Falls of the Neuse Road, associated with this office was top notch.  I want to call out the OT at the Apex office, Colleen. She helped me to get mobility back in my hand after the surgery; especially with a finger that was not broken but was dislocated and I had given up on. I give Colleen all sorts of credit for the current mobility in my hand. She's gifted in her field and fun to work with.
