Dr. Gayatri Patel, MD

Dr. Patel was my primary when at the age of 41 I had a complete physical and mental breakdown. It was a combination of various deferred medical issues including endometriosis, IBS, autoimmune thyroiditis, and possibly EDS. She was so supportive, ordering all relevant tests, referring me to other providers, and I absolutely love that at my appt after my first ER appt, she put her hand on mine, looked me in the eye, and said, 'We'll get through this together.' She meant it. If there's something she's unfamiliar with, she'll say so and follow up. If there's something new she hasn't heard of, she's open minded to hear about it. Her staff is also awesome, and will reach out to me for follow up. She'll make sure I have a longer appointment when there's a lot going on. She is so knowledgeable and open-minded and kind and diligent and truly caring. She's not intimidated by my scientific questions, and she works with me, and explains her own take when asked. Life saver, miss her.

Have experienced really terrible service as my primary MD. When I've inquired for help during a period of crisis, she had no interest and told me to contact another office. You can do much better.
