Retired
I was referred to Dr. Cheng over 13 years ago. He was great. Now I have been informed that he has retired as of 2/1/23. I was informed by my pharmacy when my prescription was denied. Otherwise, I had no knowledge of his retirement. Now I am left with no doctor, no medication for my condition, no referral, and a six month waiting time for a new doctor.

I’ve went to Dr. Cheng for over 20 years. The best neurologist I ever had for epilepsy and other nerve diagnoses. I would recommend him to anyone. Very friendly staff. I have never had him rush me. Takes time to explain things in a timely manner. Always has started me out on the lowest doses of meds to see how I tolerated them. Great Dr.

Well it’s been awhile. I had carpal tunnel and had a dreadful experience with that. His assistant did first and then he did. Very painful. Anyway went to Midwest and had the surgery. That doctor was great. Dr Cheng said I should had another nerve test and the surgeon asked why. I was already diagnosed. That did not go over well with me. I left

Dr.Cheng has been my doctor for over 5 years and I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. He takes the time to explain things to me and gets to know me as a person, and not just as a medical chart. He really fixes my problems. I never have a problem scheduling appointments with him. I can be seen within a week or two if I call.

I found Dr Cheng to be the most uncommunicative doctor. Also, his brief oral statement of the test results was vastly different from his final written report. This caused a bit of unnecessary anxiety.
