Lack of Interest
Dr Matthews while a friendly person shows little interest in the patience's needs. Over the year and a half I have counted on her for medical expertise she has demonstrated little. She wants staff to conduct the medical evaluation and she steps in and out for a few minutes.Staff is friendly as well but could not conduct a simple resting EKG without it requiring a total of 4 people reading written instruction on how to use the equipment. Then they questioned me as to why I would see another doctor for a second opinion. I am an old man and have had two internist in my life time and have seen many other physicians and NONE of them conducted their practice like she does. If you are healthy and do not need a doctor or medical attention I am sure this office will work well for you. If you are seeking a true medical evaluation with an involved physician do not waste your time.

Companionate and respectful towards patients
Dr Mathew’s was very attentive and was not in a rush. She got back to me about follow up on some of my lab results.

Honest and Very Professional
Dr. Matthews is very honest and straightforward about things, she does not beat around the bush. At the same time she is compassionate about her patients and listens to all I have to say. Being a male, I was very apprehensive about going to a female doctor due to shyness and being uncomfortable about talking about certain problems. Dr. Matthews is really easy to talk with and very personable. The appointments are not rushed, but you are also not wasting a bunch of time. She gets to point quickly. It is refreshing to have a doctor who is compassionate about patients and is also quite prompt with very little waiting. The entire office staff is amazing as well, I have never had a bad experience. The front desk staff is friendly, the nurses are also amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Matthews watches the clock. When the time is up (which the insurance will pay for--(Medicare) she leaves the office without saying "is there anything else you need?" or providing a game plan for future visits. She literally rushed out of the annual examination with out saying anything!! The communication for patient care is very, very poor. When compared to other examinations I've experienced, Doctor Matthews provides minimum care--just enough to get paid by the insurance companies. So many good Doctors to pick from, don't waste your time with this one.

I was looking for a doctor and the exchange directed me toward Dr. Matthews. I was apprehensive of a female doctor due to shyness but in no way due to a lack of confidence of the doctor. I had been to another doctor as a temporary measure before an overseas trip. When I returned fate led me to Dr. Matthews. She immediately identified a root cause that was a simple fix. She was so caring more than any doctor I have ever met. I am still shy but how can you ignore her traits as a superior doctor. I highly recommend her for anyone.

Dr. Matthews is awesome, she is very thorough. She is extremely personable, easy to talk to, stays on top of things and truly cares about her patients! Her staff and the office staff are really great. Never had a better doctor!
