Dr. Genna Carlin, MD

She told me that I had arthritis when I had a full thickness meniscal root tear, and I was unable to walk. She told me that I should not have been in the emergency room at all and wrote in the chart that I refused to walk. I had to have surgery and non-weight bearing for 4 weeks with months of therapy ahead. I feel so traumatized that I don't know if I can go to the ER any time soon, even if it was life-threatening. I am so afraid that there will be other providers like her or that she will still be employed at this hospital. I have to go there due to my insurance.

She was very rude and condescending. Instead of actually diagnosing or caring about her patient, she just wanted to push meds and discharge, chalking it up to no big deal and not serious enough to do any tests. Blatantly Refused after numerous requests to do any tests or mri and got very rude and argumentative when disagreed with and dissatisfaction expressed. When asked to drop the arguing and tend to taking care of her patient's care, she refused to and got even more aggressive and threatened security all because she was challenged to spend more than five minutes with her patient and diagnose the problem.I will absolutely 100% be coming at her with a huge lawsuit if God forbid my husband gets even worse and something happens due to her neglect and lack if empathy, respect, compassion and desire to do her job and truly care for her patients instead of caring more for her discharge numbers..

Dr was friendly and kind but failed to give full quality of care. Did not recommend meds that were needed and what she did prescribe only came with dire warnings for a medicine that is common and rarely has negative, let alone serious, side effects. Would not recommend.

She is now in Indianapolis Indiana and she was VERY attentive and concerned about my condition...
