Careless and Dismissive
'Dr.' Mount-Varner was very dismissive to me and my daughter and refused to administer any testing when she came to the emergency room for right flank pain. He touched her back and diagnosed her with muscle spasms before any urine or blood samples were taken. When I requested blood testing, he argued with me, gloating about his 'credentials' stating that he would not do a blood test when it wasn't needed. There's no reason I should argue with a doctor to get a standard blood test. My daughter's urine sample ended up being BLACK and she was finally given a blood test. I had to wait for the real ER doctor to show up and give her a CT Scan to discover that she had a kidney stone. Denying proper care to a minor, or anyone, is completely unacceptable and he needs to find something better to do.
