Dr. George Anastassov, DDS

I found Doctor Anastassov's office through sheer luck and desperation - I had a minor emergency that needed attention from an oral surgeon, but it was March 2020 and every place I called was closed because of the pandemic. Finally I called Dr. Anastassov -- the office was open, they were taking patients (one every hour, fully sanitizing between) and were able to see me that day. They were friendly, professional, and were able to operate right then and there after my consult. They worked with me financially because I don't have insurance. And the procedure itself went really well and everything has now healed beautifully. I am so, so grateful to them and will be recommending them to anyone I meet who needs an oral surgeon!

I was referred to Dr. Anastassov for an emergency surgical procedure by my regular dentist last week at 4:45 PM on a Wednesday. By 5:30 PM the same evening I received a call back from Dr. Anastassov's staff telling me I could have the procedure the next day and took my basic information over the phone. Because I have insurance as a NYC employee, a lot of my information is readily available through the databases, however, because I was out of network for this oral surgeon, I had worries about getting everything covered in time for the following day's procedure. Despite not being in network, the office staff worked with me to make sure I wouldn't be stressed out about the financial end of the procedure. When I got there, they had everything ready for me and found a way for me to cover the out of pocket expenses without interest, and without my having to take an unexpected financial hit. Following that, from beginning to end, I felt well taken care of by the surgeon and his staff.

Dr Anastassov was recommended by my general dentist. He was very thorough, took the time to explain the implant procedures, and post op procedures, and patiently answered my questions. He was also available by phone for follow up questions after office hours. His office staff was pleasant and welcoming. My experiences remained the same for several implant procedures over the years I highly recommend Dr. Anastassov.
