Stay away clearly his ship has sailed!
He didn’t even know my injury did not treat it either. I told him I thought he was missing something and he got angry with me. I told him that I thought maybe I should get a second opinion and he got even more angry. He literally raised his voice and yelled at me and then and told me that there was nothing wrong with me yet. I just walked across the room, squatted down and fell on the floor and had to have someone pick me up because my knee is so bad. Every time I had an appointment with Dr. Ballentine it was scheduled for 10 minutes. He missed things on the MRI and the x-ray. and kept having to move my appointment because he was tired and didn’t come to Workl. After I asked for the second opinion and advised him I was seeking one that only did he get angry and yell at me, but he told me that I needed to suck it up and work through the pain, which is exactly what I tried to do. I couldn’t walk. if you have something really wrong with you I would not go see Dr. ballintyne.

Dr. Ballantyne is excellent, he is very knowledgeable, friendly and listens to all of my questions. When my son injured his wrist, he was very helpful. We could not have appreciated his medical care more! The staff at the office was, also, incredible. We have interacted with several of them now and everyone of them has been friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone!

I am 93. Dr. Ballantyne was patient and caring when I saw him about my knee pain. He gave me a shot in my knee and was so careful that it didn't hurt me. The shot has not helped my pain but that is no fault of his.

Dr. Ballantyne recommended injections in my knee to help alleviate the ache and discomfort. Although the results of the serum were not a cure, they did help with the symptoms and the inflammation. I felt Dr. Ballantyne and his staff made a good judgement call. The injections and the appointment were handled in a timely and courteous manner. There was always interest in the results of the injections. I appreciate the attention and the punctuality.

Dr. Ballantyne did posterior hip replacement for me in November. I like him - he listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Recovery has been slow and difficult. But, one reason is because I had extensive surgery on the other leg because of an auto accident. But Dr. Ballantyne understands and has requested additional physical therapy.

Dr. Ballantyne is very prompt and wastes little time. If you have questions, you must ask them quickly and he will answer. If you do not, he will move on to the next patient. With my knee replacement, he met my wife and daughter in law and said "everything was fine and I was in recovery doing well" and began to leave. They interrupted him and he answered their questions. One must be prepared to take charge.

Saying Ballantyne is arrogant is an understatement. How about a bad attitude a bad temper and a God complex. I fired him as my doctor in my hospital room. He came stomping into my room ,red faced and ready for a fight. He accused me of going to the emergency room to force him to be my doctor. My femur was broken in two places but he told my family I was obviously there just for drugs. I went to Emory Clinic to see a real orthopedic surgeon. I can't trust any doctor willing to work with him!
