Dr. Ferzli removed my gallbladder on January 12, 2024, at Staten Island University Hospital on Seaview Avenue, and I was extremely happy with the results and have changed my diet and lost weight since the procedure. He put me at ease before and after the surgery.

Dr. Ferzli performed my gallbladder surgery recently in December 2023. From the initial consultation through the post-op follow up, the level of care I received was outstanding .He is very personable and patient. He answered my questions and his explanations were presented in layman’s terms. Additionally, his office staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ferzli is the best, he removed my gallbladder in March 2021. He is so personal and cares for his patients. His staff was excellent and so comforting. It was a great experience!

I went to see this doctor to get his opinion about a surgical procedure. He was the third surgeon I visited, and I was looking forward to meeting him, as he seemed to be highly experienced and had great reviews everywhere. I drove over an hour and a half just to go see him. Well, he gave me his opinion for sure, but quickly lost his patience when I started asking questions. What he told me differed significantly from what the first two surgeons told me, so naturally I wanted to find out why. He basically kicked me out after my 5-10 minutes were up. If he cannot even make the time to answer questions from a potential patient, and is rude about it, think twice about the kind of care and support you will receive should you choose him as your surgeon.

I went to Dr. Ferzli for a consult to have my gall bladder removed. I found him on this site healhgrades and was impressed with his reviews. Well, after visiting I have to wonder if the reviews are authentic. The office is straight out of the 1980's. The Dr. was HORRIBLE I don't think he could even hear what I was asking. He disregarded nearly all of my questions, was not kind, and I did NOT feel comfortable with him operating on me, so I went and found another surgeon.

Dr. Ferzli removed my gallbladder on 11/20- He is an excellent surgeon and his staff is beyond compare - they are courteous, efficient, and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Ferzli to anyone who is in need of a general surgeon.

I would highly recommend dr. Ferzli -I had a successful gallbladder surgery removed laparoscopically. Dr. Ferzli was the best. He is very personable and always available to answer your questions and concerns. There were no surprises and he explained everything before and after surgery.

Dr. Ferzli is a humble man. His office is decorated in a great amount of certifications and degrees, but don’t let that fool you. He is a nice guy. The women who work in his office are a bit to be desired but, who cares? Im not there for them. I’m on this journey for my health and family.

I had gallbladder removal surgery not two weeks postpartum - needless to say I was an emotional wreck between my baby just coming out of the NICU and having to deal with this surgery looming over me. Dr. Ferzli and his team were amazing! Supportive, kind and understanding. The surgery took 36 mins and the recovery time was minimal- I was up and walking the next day! Had my gallbladder removed on August 10, 2018 by Dr. Ferzli. The procedure was quick and I was back home within 3 hours. Recovery went smoothly with no problems. Dr Ferzli is a great surgeon and he is very kind. I would highly recommend him for surgical procedures.

Went to dr ferzli a little over 2 years ago with pain in my side.After a cat scan he said I had very small polyps in my gallbladder and it had to come out.After recovery I was bleeding out of 2 incisions and wound up in emergency room for 10 hours. 2 years later I still have the pain in my side.After multiple testing I found out my gallbladder should have never come out that I have IBS. So now I have pain and have a problem digesting food. Dr ferzli your lucky your out of malpractice guidelines

very rude and non-professional stuff at front desk. called 5.25.18 to make an appointment, after 15 min of listening music, girl picked up the phone and told me that they are closed till monday. after that she throw the phone and never pick it up again. if doctor's helpers are so nasty, imagine - how bad this doctor itself!?

I can't say enough about Dr. Ferzli and his staff. He was referred by Dr Aboujaoude (another excellent dr.) for my gallbladder. The consult was great from his office staff, nurse and Dr. Ferzli himself. A week prior to my scheduled surgery I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days for a gallbladder attack. Dr. Ferzli was in constant contact with me. He visited me in the hospital and answered whenever I called him. It's been a week since my surgery and I couldn't feel better. TY Dr. Ferzli
