I am in the healthcare field and chose Dr Hamrick based on his reputation among doctors and his low rate of complications. Not only is he extremely competent but He was reassuring and kind. He took the time to answer all my questions and give me data about my condition (hcm). I cannot recommend him enough. He and the whole cardiac team at wakemed Cary are top notch. I highly recommend this doctor!!!

Dr. Hamrick inserted a pacemaker in me in 2014. I almost died on the operating table as he punctured my heart from the inside, with one of the electrical leads. I was bleeding internally into my heart epicardium India blood pressure dropped to 80/30. He was alerted to the situation by staff members and fixed the situation before I died. This does not occur regurlarly. No trust in this doctor.
