At the time of consult, my case was described as a 'slam dunk'. One year post op, I was told there are few perfect outcomes & that my questions about asymmetry & function were 'overthinking'. My trusted family physician asked about the visible asymmetry & informed me that I had a significant deviated septum & narrow airway on one side. His response was that I probably had a deviated septum before (why wasn't it fixed ENT double board cert?), I shouldn't focus on it & the narrow airway was because a bump was brought down. He told me before surgery that breathing would remain the same or improved. I also snore for the first time in my life which he denies is connected to the surgery. The lower bleph resulted in significant hollowing which he told me wouldn't not be an issue bc of repositioning of fat pads, but now I have a new issue. He didn't even ask of the lower bleph at any follow up appts. Attentive to get business, they're disinterested post op & ready to gaslight your concerns.
