BEWARE! I'm sure there are hundreds of women who have had positive experiences with Dr. Peterson, as he came recommended by almost everyone I asked. I honestly don't know why! He was aloof and seemed uncaring at almost every visit, but he was "the best on the island," so I went with him As my OB. About 2 months before my due date, I developed a hard spot in my breast. I told Dr. Peterson about it and his reply was "It's your milk coming in." He didn't look at the lump or even touch it! As a first time mom, I figured the "best doctor" knew what he was talking about. At each consequent visit for 2 months, I mentioned it to the doctor and nurse, and always got the same response. A few weeks before giving birth, I awoke with a terrible pain in my side. After a visit from EMS, I decided to forego the ER (pain had subsided) and call Dr. Peterson the next day. I was told it was the positioning of the baby. Fast forward... I gave birth, but still had the lump in my breast and pain in my side.

So the office Staff refuse to take a patient that is pregnant just because she do not speak English. a family member offer them to be there as a translator a all the time on appointments and delivery, they still refuse to take the patient because of the language. to make sure they where ask "you are not taking us, just because the person don't speak a proper English, and the answer was cruel: BASICALLY YES, she said. I hope with this doctor Peterson could see better the people that work, and represent him. Totally disappointed of a such a well name doctor in Key West. So if your English is not truly right, do not go to his office.

The best of the best. You read reviews and wonder - but all I can say is that he and his staff make you feel at home. From the minute you walk in you know you made the right choice. All his staff is very caring and Dr. P. as I call him is THE BEST!!!!!!! Many people these days take to social media to write reviews based on whatever but the truth be said this Dr. and his staff go way out of there way for you and your family. They are very dedicated to us - their patients. Ohhh! Ohhhh! The best experience ever is during the holidays - they actually take the time to decorate the office as if it was there home - you don't want to leave. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Peterson delivered my twins. I was gaining weight rapidly and instead of testing me he looked at my ankles and said no swelling you must be eating to much. I ended up having preclamcia and it was water weight. I also had extreme itching and told him I think I had ICP he told me it is very rare and likely not. I had to insist to be testing and I had it. Emergency csection up my stomach that got infected warrenting a second surgery. My son has developmental delays and I cant help wonder...

I visited dr Peterson back in January when I first found out I was pregnant and began bleeding. He was rude and made me feel like a fool, didn't address the fact I was bleeding, I left balling. I later went to the hospital and was told that I needed a shot of rhogram stat because of my negative blood type. When I asked they said the doctor should have ordered me the shot after I informed his nurse of my negative blood type. Anytime a RH- pregnant woman is bleeding this shot is mandatory. Awful!!

Awesome experience! Appointment on time and great staff. Best Ob/gyn I've been to. He is very kind and made me feel comfortable.

After walking into the office, I was comforted by the warm and welcoming waiting room. Upon walking back, I was pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms. The nurse was excellent with switching all my records over and explaining what they had and didn't have from my previous doctor. Dr. Peterson him self, sat with my in his office, to discuss my pregnancy thus far and my options for after child birth. He is a very passionate about what he does and it shines through within the first five minutes.
