Dr. George Sandau, MD

I was very concerned as this was my first real issue with my teeth. Dr Sandau and his staff made me feel very comfortable and as relaxed as possible. He explained in detail what my options were and exactly what he would be doing and continued that detail thru the procedure. I honestly did not feel any pain and they continued to make sure I was OK throughout the process. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Dr Sandau and his team for any dental surgical procedure.

Dr. Sandau and his team got me in as soon as possible and were highly professional and efficient. He did an excellent job on my teeth, Would highly recommend Dr. Sandau!

Dr. Sandau was very informative. He explained everything to me about my condition and his recommendations. I felt that he made everything easier for me. He was able to do my extraction and implant at the same time in one surgery which made me very happy so that my tooth could be replaced sooner and I didn't have to wait so long.

I have bad anxiety from a previous bad experience with oral surgery in the past. I had to have a broken lower tooth extracted when I was young and I was not fully numb for the procedure and my tooth had to be drilled out and it was very traumatic for me. Ever since that happened to me, I have had a lot of anxiety related to oral surgery. Unfortunately, I needed another extraction to be done. This time I was treated by Dr. Sandau. When I met with him at the consultation visit, he was very kind and patient with me and answered all of my questions. He was very understanding of my bad experience in the past and he offered for me to be sedated or to be awake with the gas. He also offered for me to have medication to help me to relax with the gas and I chose this option. The medication helped me to be calm and the gas helped for me not to have pain. I was very happy with how everything went and how understanding and patient Dr. Sandau was with me and my past experience.

My son has severe anxiety at the dentist due to dental trauma. This was discussed at the initial consultation. Despite the prior discussion, on the day of the appointment Dr Sandau was short with my son and my self. My son asked me to be with him while they started his IV and his assistant said he will never allow that. I asked her to please ask him. She came back and said he will be out to speak with you in a moment. Instead of coming to talk to me he came out stood in front of me looked at my son and said “let’s go.” His intimidation did not work. My son did not get up. I told Dr Sandau we discussed me coming for the IV and that I knew I couldn’t stay back there and I didn’t even have to be there for the medication to be given. Dr Sandau was rude, refused to listen or make any sort of accommodation and screamed at his staff to cancel the surgery while he stomped away. This all took place in the waiting room. I do NOT recommend.

I was so nervous the day of my consultation because I had been in pain from my wisdom teeth for years. When I met Dr. Sandau he immediately put me at ease. He explained everything in detail and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.The day or my surgery his staff was very calming and that helped me know that I was in great hands with Dr. Sandau and his assistants.I had no pain after my surgery! I couldn't believe how easy my recovery was. The office called to follow up after my surgery as well. I am so thankful to Dr. Sandau for helping me get over my fear of having surgery. I highly recommend him.

Dr Sandau was very patient and informative with me. I was very afraid and nervous, but he and his assistants were very nice and comforting to me. I needed to have a sedative to calm my nerves because I was too afraid. I didn't have any pain after the surgery was over and I was able to go back to work the next day. I highly recommend Dr Sandau for oral surgery

I needed to have a tooth extracted because my crown came off from my tooth and my dentist told me that it couldn't be repaired because there was tooth decay underneath. I also have an infection in my gums and had to take antibiotics for the swelling to go down. Dr Sandau was great! He was able to take the tooth out and to replace it the same day with a dental implant and I was very impressed by this because I would only have to wait a few months for the crown to be done and all of the treatment to be finished. I thought that he was very talented and I never felt anything except a little pressure after the injections were done. I highly recommend Dr Sandau.

I was sent to Dr. Sandau for him to place dental implant into my lower jaw to help hold my denture in place. He was highly recommended and I was told that he was an excellent doctor. He was very nice and confident and this made me feel at ease. He had a nice demeanor and was patient and answered my questions for me too. I didn't have any pain after the surgery and I was very surprised by this. If you need an oral surgeon or if you need dental implants, I would highly recommend Dr Sandau for the way that he treated and helped me.

I was sent to Dr Sandau for an extraction of some broken teeth that I had for a long time. I was afraid but he made it fast and easy for me.

I was sent to Dr. Sandau because I needed a lot of teeth extracted for a lower denture and implants to hold the denture in place. He was very efficient and everything went better than I hoped it would. I highly recommend Dr Sandau for oral surgery and dental implants.

I saw Dr Sandau for emergency treatment because I had an infection from a broken tooth that developed infection. Dr. Sandau was very kind and patient and he explained the treatment and answered all of my questions for me. He extracted the tooth very quickly and placed an implant with bone graft so that my tooth could be replaced in four months. I highly recommended Dr Sandau!

He refused to do my extractions after requesting I arrive 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time then I waited 35 minutes past my appointment time to be taken to the back. I asked about which teeth were being pulled. He said I needed a consultation, he wasn’t pulling any teeth today & walked out the room. All I did was have questions. Which I’m entitled to have them at any time, it’s my teeth. The person he replaced would have answered any & all questions. I would not recommend this oral surgeon to anyone with a disability because he has absolutely no compassionate for anyone but himself. It’s all about the money for him.

I had to have more teeth extracted and had such a bad experience the last time that i was scare to death. Dr. Sandau was so nice and kind to me. He played music to help calm me down and he made it easy. I am very grateful to Dr. Sandau and highly recommend him for oral surgery and tooth extractions.

I was sent to Dr. Sandau because I needed two teeth extracted. I wasn't sure what I would do afterwards. Dr. Sandau was kind and he took time to explained to me what my options were. He explained what bone grafting was for and how the dental implant process worked. He made me feel very comfortable. He was able to perform two extractions with bone grafting and dental implants on the same-day in less than an hour and I was very impressed. I felt no pain and he was very fast.
