Dr. George Seavy, DO

I have been going to him for years. He has kept me in great health, He is my Doctor!!

Love Dr Seavy as a physician. However, since he became part of the Abington network, getting to speak with him directly by phone has been extremely difficult. And it is very difficult trying to get prescription refills, as well as medical records transferred to another office through his current staff. When I do get to speak to an actual person and not a voice automated system, they never follow up with the prescription order or the records transfer. His current set up feels more corporate and not as personal as it once was. Sad to say, I'm done and looking for another doctor.

The worst . He has zero irresponsibility . Unbelievable

Dr Seavy not only keeps track of his patients medical information; He also pays attention to their conversations, their memory, ability to answer questions, etc. I went with my mother and we enjoyed our visit. Dr. Seavy was very observant, answered all questions and my mother’s overall health has improved since seeing him. She is 95 and very healthy.

Never got in to see him after waiting 2 months for appointment I was 8 minutes late and told I would have to reschedule and only appointment was in another month. I have expired rx’s But can’t be filled until he sees me. Went to this office for almost 8 years until 2016 when Dr. Sestito retired. but they don’t care about that!

Office staff not very friendly or helpful. REFUSE to do necessary pre-authorizations for medications. Refills get phoned in to wrong pharmacies. Doctor is VERY nice, very kind, and will take the time to listen to all of your concerns and explain everything so you understand, but staff is very grouchy.

Having just moved to Hatfield I am unfamiliar with Drs in the area and tried to set an appointment for a small health issue I am having. I scheduled the appointment online and got a call from a receptionist who was incredibly confrontational telling me all the things I have to fax (not email) to them from previous PCPs before they can ever see me. I told her I haven't had one since 2011, and she was very mean. I told her to cancel my appointment and will be looking for another PCP.

Dr. Seavy is absolutely a fantastic physician , but over the past year his staff has been beyond slow for prescriptions and referral. Sometimes it is a week for normal maintenance medicine. If they are that short staffed , its time they get additional help. It’s just not acceptable

Dr. Seay is one of the best primary care doctors I have encountered. I have moved frequently and had numerous doctors over the years. He is knowledgeable, patient, and demonstrates caring and understanding.

Dr. Seavy will explain and field any question with total professionalism. He always explains the answer/concern in a basic level that is not condescending or arrogant. Also, the appointment is always on time and you never feel rushed.

Truly The best doctor I have ever been to. And I've been to a lot of doctors over The years. He has been my family doctor for over a decade and I will never change. He has The best bedside manner and listens to your concerns. I couldn't ask for a nicer person
