Think Twice
I spent a 32 year career as a Registered Nurse, retiring from both the U.S. Air Force and the Veterans Hospital. I worked 15 years in the Emergency Department as well as an array of inpatient and outpatient settings. It is my opinion that Dr. Wang is, no doubt, one of the most incompetent physicians I’ve ever encountered. I first saw him a few months ago to evaluate a severe balance problem. After my visit, I read his note and could not believe what he wrote in my medical record. It was filled with gross inaccuracies. His charting was so full of errors that I wondered if he had mixed me up with another patient. Although my chief complaint dealt with imbalance, he didn’t have me stand up nor did he observe me walking. Yet. he wrote that I had no ataxia. I wrote a rebuttal to him covering nine specific charting “errors” (fabrications). His response? If you don’t agree, get a second opinion. Believe his negative reviews. I read them, but thought no doctor could be that bad. Beware.

I am livid by the horrible experience this doctor and employees have put my mom and my entire family thorough. With a message on an app, they diagnosed my mom with Senile Dimentia- with zero facts to prove it since my mom had not gone through all testing. This of course put my family on edge along with lots of shed tears. We spoke to her PCP and it turned out my mother did not have dimentia! This office was also to send paperwork to my moms insurance company for a final and much needed test, which they did it incorrectly. When my mom called for help, front desk girl told her they couldn't appeal it themselves and laid the responsibility on my mom. They lack sense of accountability and only seek an office visit which of course is to make money from copays and other fees they charge insurance companies. Every single experience my mom has had with Wang was horrible. I concur with all the negative reviews left here. Staff have horrible attitudes and give condescending tones. These individuals are to care for those with issues of the mind. They're entire family is affected by what they're going through and these are the people in charge of their care? Shameful. Lack of professional decorum and sense of basic human care. I work for a major insurance company and know bad doctor experiences when I hear one but this one, at Wangs office is one of the worst I've heard of. Please, do yourself and your family a favor and go to another doctor even if it's further away. These individuals will make you feel worse.

No compassion, no sympathy.
He did not ask about my symptoms. He had a mask on and an accent and I could barely understand him. I thought he mentioned Meniere's, but when I asked what was wrong he said we have to do tests first. I said how am I going to live for five weeks until the results come in as I can barely lift my head off the pillow. He said to take drugs. I waited 30 minutes after they took me back before he came in. He only spent five minutes with me.

Terrible!
This doctor is so awful that I terminated my first appointment halfway through and walked out the door. After having two spinal fusions and experiencing awful neuropathy, I know what I’m talking about. He did not trust anything I have to say, and got confrontational with me. Nope.

Did good job
Dr was basically on time, greeted us with respect, evaluated the CAT scan and Cartorid Artery scan and gave full diagnostic with suggested follow-up tests. It all sounded fair, accurate, and positive to find out the specific problem and needed care. He did a nice exam of my body and reflexes and his NP gave all the other information requested. In summary, I was very skeptical after reading all the negative reviews, but very satisfied with his services.

Completely incompetent and lacking moral fiber. No matter what your health problem is he will send you to this fly by night physical therapy place which he owns.

Lacking communication skills and I was very uncomfortable with what he was trying to tell me. Unfortunately I understood very little. When a person is worried in the first place, this is not at all comforting.

I would leave a negative review if it were there. This office is a joke. He does test the absolute wrong way. I went and had them redone and totally different results. He’s got no bedside manner either. I have a degree in healthcare. I know how the test should be done and I know about bedside manner. I was a former educator on it for physicians including presenting nationally. He’s a great example in my next book I’m publishing on what not to do going to all the medical schools and my live presentations.

I'm 49yrs old and only recently had what was a seizure, where I couldn't move or scream but every muscle in my body flexed and became stiff. It seemed to have lasted 30-45 seconds but I don't know forsure. I was alone when this happened. Anyhow, on my 1st visit he neglected to gather a detailed history to see if I had ever had anything like that before. He came in and said "we do EEG and MRI" and walked out of the room. I was like," Ooookay?" 2nd visit and follow-up to EEG and MRI. He indicated I had an abnormal EEG and no tumor seen in MRI. He said my "brain is slow" . He ordered another "sleep EEG" and walked out of the room. I didn't have any time to ask questions or the opportunity to tell him about the lights I've seen in my vision on and off throughout my life which usually is followed by an intense pain on the left of my head behind my eye. Then my pharmacy calls me regarding a Rx he sent in which I'm allergic too!! I plan on finding another Dr!!

I would tell everyone, stay away from this doctor! I called in for a sleep medication refill I had been taking. Dr. Wong comes in and without talking to me or listening, he orders a sleep study and walks out. He is so cold and impersonal. Once I had the sleep study I was never called back to be given the results and was just left hanging. I finally made an appointment and went to my family care physician and got taken care of in one day. Two weeks later I still have not heard and finally his office calls me to see if I wanted to schedule a sleep study! Unbelievable??

From my call to set up the appointment I had a feeling that this might not be a doctors office I would recommend to my friends and family. Day of appointment I did not care for the check-in staff they lack sincere friendliness, lack of eye contact and rush the answers to your questions. when talking to you they are staring at their computer. As for Dr. Wang, I felt he rushed through the appointment, bedside manner, he lacks that big time. During my appointment he explained things to me like I knew what he was referring to. Hello, my chart should have told him I was a new patient. I had to ask him a couple of times " What is that? " as he was explaining in acronyms and test abbreviations. I felt he was getting irritated. I knew that I was never going back. One last thing. The offices do not return phone messages. I have left 3, not one has been returned.

DO NOT GO HERE. Waited six weeks to get tests done and for a follow-up. They messed up the scheduling, that was done six weeks prior, and was told that I messed up, that I was wrong. Asked to make an appointment to see the doctor, Dr. George Wong, was told that he only sees new patients. Horrible and rude front desk. Unless you like frustation and being talked down to, DO NOT GO HERE. Go anywhere else, get a different referral from your doctor if you get one for here. You will be sorry. Eventually.

Dr Wang was great- and the technician that did my testing as well. The front office staff however, first- they booked an appointment for me and there was no appointment when I showed up. They got me in the next day, but then charged me up front the full amount my insurance pays, only for me to find out that I only owed a fraction of that. Now I have to track everything down and try and get my money back. The girl at the counter acted like she does that all the time. Disappointing.

I started with dr. Wang in early July with major pressure in my head, so he did a bunch of test including sleep study & never did he have the chance to review my issues as far as next step to take , left me high & dry with no answer to my problem I have . besides all of this , when you call the office, it usually goes directly to voicemail & takes forever for them to call back if they ever do & that's rarely it.happens . He.has no bedside manner nor does he listen to your problems at all .

It is impossible to get through to them by phone. No customer service at all. Took 5 weeks for them to get me CPAP machine, and I have now waited 5 weeks to get the pressure setting changed on the machine. Never a call back, no since of urgency, do not know procedures. Called the wrong provider for me, and I never heard back from them. Do not use this Dr. He and his staff are very unresponsive. I have now left another message. I will have to drive down there and insist this is taken care of.
