Dr. Younan removed a liver tumor for me a few months ago. Procedure and recovery were textbook as far as I could tell. I was also really impressed by the entire team at VHC. I also compared my scar to a friend who had a laparoscopic procedure-- her navel was mangled compared to mine. I had to get a smaller barbell because they somehow tightened everything after the fact!

When common ibuprofen, acetimin & antibiotic for a dental skin graft sent me to ER twice in Oct, a CT scan found a large left hepatic hemangioma (said online to be common, benign). No gastroent avail at that healthsystem til March, VHC made appt promptly, & that dept shared the image with Dr. Younan whose office called me to make Nov appt. I walzed in expecting him to say let's make acquaintance and monitor, but he didn't. He said, this is giant, growing, much bigger can be inoperable, painful, debilitating. Pushing on your stomach now, & newer RF techniques won't work as it's already taken your entire left liver. I asked to think, he let me and scheduled MRI early spring to check size, position. After talking with family, feeling it increasingly push on ribs, abdomen, I called. Dr. Younan fit me in a week-and-half before holiday break. On table, the tumor had grown more than an inch since the CT scan. He makes rounds daily, superb team. Incision is a clean and simple line. Integrity.

Dr. Younan and his staff were a referral from another doctor. I couldn't have been happier with my interactions with him and his staff. They were quick to get me in after the referral, and Dr. Younan was great with communications at my initial appointment, prior to surgery, and after. He made me feel at ease, and I am so fortunate to have had him as my surgeon.

I contacted Dr. younan’s office after a retroperitoneal mass between the aorta and left kidney was discovered on an unrelated CT scan. His office staff returned my phone call promptly and I had an appointment with Dr. Younan within 5 days. This alone was totally different from other doctors’ offices that never returned calls. Dr. Younan had clearly reviewed my scans before seeing me, was professional, reassuring and personable. He patiently answered all questions from my husband and me. He was able to schedule the surgery quickly which was completed without issue. I highly recommend Dr. Younan.

I had a precancerous growth on the tail of my pancreas. The doctor was calm, reassuring, and wonderful in every way. He was able to surgically remove the growth and my recovery was smooth. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Younan took charge of my case from the beginning. I was growing frustrated with unreturned messages and what seemed to me to be a lack of urgency from other doctors when Dr. Younan appeared on the scene, made things happen, and made them happen quickly He actually contacted me, and if I did have a question later I was able to talk to someone from his office who had pretty much immediate access to him, so I was never left hanging. He is kind, straight forward, very easy to talk to, obviously a supremely skilled surgeon but not the least bit arrogant or condescending. He does what he says he will do.I'm not out of the woods yet with this cancer but Dr. Younan absolutely gave me a fighting chance and I am so grateful to him for that.

I went to Dr. Younan for two masses that I had stumbled up on my liver. He came recommended to me. He was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful throughout the whole process of imaging, to consulting on imaging & next steps, to the surgery, bedside manner, follow ups, etc., etc.. He was even accommodating with virtual visits so I didn't have to drive an hour to see him each time. I couldn't say more positive things about Dr. Younan and the VHC facility. For anyone with issues pertaining to liver, pancreas, gallbladder, etc. reach out to Dr. Younan. 10000 percent recommended.

Dr George Simply the best… …better than all the rest! I am grateful for Dr. Younan and his incredible skills!!! I was referred to him after a failed removal of the gallbladder. By then, Dr. Younan discovered the gallbladder ruptured, adhered to the colon and caused an abscess to the liver. ??. He listened to all my concerns and explained everything in detailed. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Younan. Dr. Younan was kind, patience, humorous and very informative of going forward. The surgery was successful and I doing well. I highly recommend Dr. George Younan, his wonderful staff and VCH. In addition, Dr. Younan learned of a friend’s hospitalization. He was concerned of her care that he offered to see her quickly and help resolve the issue. What doctor does that??? Thank you, Dr. 5 stars!!!!

Dr. Younan was very personal and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure. After many years of suffering with gallstones and stints, he had an immediate solution to my ongoing issue. Recovery has been going well as he projected to be. He and his staff did an amazing job!

Dr. Younan has been amazing! he literally saved my life. Before my surgery he explained the whole process and he just made me feel like I was in good hands and I sure was. Knowing how busy Dr. Younan is, he still managed to visit me in the hospital EVERY DAY, including the weekend days, up until my discharge. He took his time in explaining all the results and further management during my follow up visit, and I never felt rushed regarding any questions I had. He is an exceptional surgeon who found more tumors than my scan showed and was able to get all of them out! I would recommend Dr. Younan to any of my family, friends or anyone.

We were referred to Dr Younan to perform a high risk and major surgery. We were in mental and physical crisis when we learned of my health issue. Dr Younan and his team, Anthony and Kaila all had positive and calming attitudes throughout helping us cope with our crisis. My tumor was removed successfully and we look forward to a healthy future thanks to Dr Younan. Also must mention, great sense of humor.

My husband was referred to Dr Younan by the general surgeon who did his original cholosectomy. We were both a bit anxious after learning he would need a 2nd surgery to remove a remnant of his gallbladder. Upon meeting Dr Younan, we immediately felt comfortable & that we were in good hands. My husband’s situation was complicated & Dr Younan took the time to explain it all, as well as answer all our questions. The surgery was successful and my husband has recovered nicely. It came as a total surprise to me that I had a substantial mass hanging from my liver and needed surgery to remove it. Dr. Younan not only took the time to explain everything about the mass and the surgery to me; he extended amazing professional courtesy to discuss every aspect of my surgery and recovery with my son, a urologist in another city. I felt VERY well cared for by the office staff, the nurses, and Dr. Younan. I was seen quickly, my issues were taken seriously and the plan was clearly explained to me. Dr. Younan acted with urgency to get me the tests I needed to be able to get to the point of the necessary surgery, and when it was time for surgery, the office gave me clear instructions on how to prepare and Dr. Younan explained to me again before surgery what was going to happen. When I came out of surgery, the nurses and office gave me clear instructions for self care and made my 2 week appointment for followup.
