Dr Heisterkamp
I thought at first Dr. Heisterkamp was there to help. Little did I realize that she was simply there to cut. I had terrible experiences with her operating on me and still have problems to this day. When I asked her to fix the first most obvious of the problems, she hurriedly said it wasn't her fault, leaving me wondering where to turn next. I do not recommend her for your surgery and most importantly the closing. She has never to this day followed up on how how her performance has affected and continues to affect my life.

I cannot believe the one star. That should have been applied to one of her colleagues who in his words would not treat my (small one at that time) hernia with a ten foot pole. My Primary and sidekick also deserve one stars for simply telling me to LIVE with it and use a corset. I took their advice for years and that small hernia became orange sized and a new one appeared in my groin because of the corset IMO. My primary was not even sure it was a hernia. Seeing them, she immediately operated!

Surgery has resulted in multiple complications and a hernia mesh that is currently in the courts trying to be recalled was used inside of me. She blamed my body for the complications rather than the actual cause, the mesh. Treatement was terrible. Took days to return phone calls when I was in distress. Nurse gave poor information as well.
