An excellent psychiatrist / neurological scientist
I was his patient for several years until he reached Kaiser Permanente's mandatory retirement age of 65. If he were able to return, I would request to be reassigned to his practice. I cannot imagine him truly retiring, so if he maintains a part-time practice or opens an office outside of KP, please give him serious consideration. Speaking only for myself, I found him to be highly disciplined, knowledgeable, patient, emphatic, I could go on and on, waxing poetic on how his interventions have improved my life. Sure, there would be times when his appointments ran behind, but that was because there was a patient (or maybe more) ahead of me who needed his extra attention, and I was confident that when I was up next, he would give me the time that I deserved, too. Sometimes an individual health provider can do only so much on a given day. I'm shocked at the vitriol from the negative reviewer. We all see psychiatrists for different reasons, so consider the source.

Whatever you do, avoid this man (he's SO bad I can't even respect his title enough to refer to him as a "Doctor". He is dangerous, i.e., does not live up to the Hippocratic Oath, "Do No Harm". He scared me. He is threatening. He lied in my medical record. I filed a complaint due to the false and incriminating information he included in my medical record. He is rude, does not listen, gives false diagnosis, and makes false accusations. His attitude is dictatorial; acts as if above reproach
