Dr. Gerald Horn, MD

The optometrist was great super energetic and friend and the office staff was nice too. Dr. Horn was rude didn’t explain anything that was happening. He was aggressive and did nothing to make me more comfortable about what was going to happen. He cut my eyelid with one of the machines. He kept instructing me to open both eyes, one of which was covered, then when I would try he would yell at me asking what I was doing. He scratched my eye then blamed me for it. Luckily the post op checkup was with the optometrist who didn’t seem surprised by my experience. The procedure was also scheduled for 2 o’clock I took the meds they gave me at 2:10 when they instructed me to. Including a Xanax that my doctor prescribed for this day and I felt like they wore off by 4:15 when I finally went in for my procedure.

I enjoyed my conversations with Dr. Gerald as much as I appreciated the outstanding results his surgical procedure granted me. To my surprise here we were in Illinois where I had my surgery and we were both born in Rochester, NY and are avid tennis players!

We are officially the best parents in the world. When our son was asked what he wanted for his birthday, he surprised us by saying LASIK. He is a college athlete and had less than stellar vision. We agreed with the stipulation that it be done by the best around. Our research brought us to Dr. Horn and our son is excelling in football with excellent vision. He (thus we) could not be happier.

Was excellent work,guick and pricise havent seen this great since i was a kid. Would reccomemd go see him. Staff was also couteous and professional

I just passed the six month anniversary of my custom wavefront Lasik surgery and I can say without exaggeration or hyperbole that this was the worst decision I have ever made. I have all of the supposedly rare side effects of starbursts, glare, halo, double vision, and eyes so dry that they reliably burn for up to five minutes every morning. I would advise readers to track down the June 2018 New York Times article about Lasik before considering this seriously.
