I cancelled my plans to do surgery. The Surgical Scheduler is extremely rude and did not give me a good feeling to do surgery at Jefferson.

Good post-op care
I was still having pain passing stool after 3 months post-op so he examined me and provided me with a suppository that healed my fissure (?) and got rid of the pain. For the first time in twelve years I can now enjoy going to the bathroom!

Poor follow up
Great surgeon but took my mother in for after surgery 2week follow up and he wouldn’t even do an exam. Just asked how she was doing. Said he didn’t need to examine. Then why make me drag a 91 yo wheelchair bound blind woman into a building that has no accommodation to pull up and drop off.

Dr. Isenberg is a great doctor. I had been suffering with hemorrhoids for years. I even had banding done by another docyor, to no avail. I made an appointment with Dr. Isenberg and he was very patient and sympathetic. Within one week I had the surgery done. I am still recovering but I am so happy to have found him. They would never have gone away on their own. I highly recommend him. Dont suffer like I did make an appointment. You wont be. Sorry. Thank you Dr. Isenberg.

I was referred to him to fix an issue. Initially he seemed ok, if not rushed. When the surgery failed to fix the issue, he did the surgery again, which also failed. When he stated he wanted to do a radical surgery that would put my life on hold I wanted to discuss other options and he got very angry that I was questioning his recommendation (I am a nurse, not an uninformed healthcare consumer) and he stated that I would "just have to deal with it then." Needless to say I went elsewhere.
