Absolutely wonderful
I took my mother to her and she was absolutely wonderful in every way, great bed side manners, explained everything thoroughly and did more to cover all potential problems. Highly recommended

Stay away
She told me she feels it’s appropriate for your job to call your doctor without consent questioning your health. She’s a doctor and doesn’t understand HIPAA Ucla do better!

Dr. Navarro is an outstanding Rheumatologist! Her care as a physician has literally transformed my life! Due to my disability, limited insurance, and difficulty qualifying for standard PAP RX programs, I had great difficulty attaining a biologic treatment for my very severe condition of psoriatic arthritis that began in childhood. Dr. Navarro and her staff spent countless hours completing forms, sending emails, and making calls ensuring that I was able to attain and start a biologic treatment for my severe condition. She would not take no for an answer! As I have continued under her care, my pain level and quality of life has drastically improved each and every day! Additionally, Dr. Navarro is extremely knowledgeable, caring, friendly and focused on treating each patient individually. I could not be more appreciative of the outstanding level of care that I have received from Dr. Geraldine Navarro at UCLA.

Horrible Doctor!! Runs you in circles and refers out to other specialists for answers. You will waste your time, money and she will not get to the root of your problem or have an answer for your diagnosis. Run away!!!

Dr Navarro is thorough and really listens to everything that can affect her patients . She is kind ,she is excellent at diagnosing and treating, and takes not just the physical into account regarding a person’s health. After all we are made up of emotional and mental also! She runs tons of bloodwork and keeps her eyes on the numbers that pertain to my specific conditions .I highly recommend her .

Can't even give her a single star although one star is required. Terribly abrupt. She didn't listen to my concerns and instead ordered an array of expensive tests unrelated to my visit, insisting that my problem was something different... which it wasn't. All the tests came back negative and she simply sent me a message via the portal saying... here are your results, if you have any questions, make another appointment.

I came to see Dr. Navarro for a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlo’s Syndrome. She was listed as someone who was educated in the field. She gave me a diagnosis of hEDS and then said I need to find a geneticist to test and see if I have more forms of EDS than just the one she can diagnose; the type that need a blood test. I recently called Dr. Navarro requesting a doctor’s note to have a closer parking spot at my home. A main symptom of EDS is severe chronic pain and joints that dislocate randomly, especially if carrying something like groceries. She refuses to write me a note unless I drive from San Diego to Santa Clarita and pay for an in person appointment. Clearly Dr. Navarro is motivated my money and greed and she cannot actually offer me any further medical advice/diagnosis and still insists on me paying for another $250 appointment my insurance doesn’t cover. What was the point in ever receiving a diagnosis from you at all if you’re not even interested in protecting my health

I saw Dr. Navarro in 2013 when my autoimmune journey began. She is a kind, caring and thorough rheumatologist. Even today, she has been the best I have seen and it has been years since I was seeing her.

Dr. Navarro is an outstanding physician! She focuses on my hand & leg pain but also reminds me to manage my overall health. When I see her in the office, she answers all my questions & concerns thoughtfully! I've got many health issues & her treatment plans take those into consideration. She is fantastic at ordering appropriate tests, follows up with me to make sure I know what the results are, & gives me a treatment plan to address any issue test results highlight. Highly recommend her!
