I give Dr D’Ariano best rating for his expertise.
He operated on my neck and my husbands back. He has given epidural shots in his back and he knows where to put the shot. No other orthopedic physician has been able to do this in correct area. He is excellent physician.

I could not believe it!
Very disappointing experience. I have had 2 cervical spine surgeries (not Dr. D’Ariano). I started having multiple symptoms I thought may be a result of my 2019 cervical fusion. I told him I was having trouble walking and both of my hands had tremors. I brought my latest MRI which he reviewed. I was hoping he would do some investigating and offer some form of diagnostics because I knew the hardware from my previous surgeries could mask artifacts on the MRI. No, he did not investigate. He did not even let me explain all of the specialists I had already seen. I was totally shocked when he said there’s nothing wrong with you, you just need to get some Xanax and chill out. SERIOUSLY??????

Walked in, went straight for the computer to review MRI and about 5 minutes later finally looked at me to tell me he was referring me to a neurosurgeon. When I had some questions about MRI results he basically told me to shut up, that I wouldn't understand it anyway. Very dismissive when I asked about trying an epidural first. Truly obnoxious behavior. There is no way I would let this man ever touch me.

Professional, caring, efficient and since I was just there yesterday I can’t comment on how effective the end result will be. However the treatment I received on day one has provided a great deal of immediate pain relief.

My first visit with Dr D’Ariano was not very pleasant. He was cold and inpatient . He didn’t even talk to me about my past, how long I have the pain and he wasn’t so pleased to explain me the result of the MRI. I guess he was having a bad day. At the end of the short talk, he asked me to lay down in the table, to show him where was the pain, as soon as he toke my pants down he suddenly applied a needle in it of cortisone shot without even asking me. I had the rest of the day even worst than I was before. Couldn’t stand or seat or even walk. I have been to those shots before and it didn’t help at all. But he didn’t want to care about it. Not sure what to do, if I go see him again in two weeks or not!

I have hesitated writing this review until a full 8 months after Dr. D'Ariano performed a major laminectomy to remedy a severe spinal stenosis condition. I was in significant pain before surgery (shooting nerve pain down my legs) and was very diligent and cautious about choosing a surgeon. My research confirmed that Dr D'Ariano was an excellent choice and to date that has proven true. He was upfront with everything prior to surgery and through the entire process including follow-up for twelve weeks. My pain has never returned since surgery and I can now do everything that the previous healthy me could do. I hope my back remains painfree but am confident that Dr D"Ariano would be there to help if my condition deteriorated. I would highly recommend Dr. D'Ariano for anyone needing this type of surgery.

Dr. D'Ariano did my back surgery for my Severe Stenosis. Brought my MRI to him on my visit and we scheduled surgery three weeks later. He did a fabulous job on my back. It is six weeks later and I am walking pain free, in the fitness center and ready to play golf again next month. I recommend him very highly.

Very disappointing. Dr. D’Ariano made me feel like I was wasting his time because all I had was a pulled back muscle. Lousy “bedside manner.” No effort to be nice or welcoming. My 1-star review is way too high but that’s lowest option.

He took time to investigate what was causing my back pain. It was only when he was sure where the problem was. That he recommended surgery. He is very professional and concerned about my outcome. I would highly recommend Dr. D’Ariano.

Im leaving this guy a generous one star review because 0 stars is not an option. Its sad when your desperate and looking for a solution to run across a guy like this. I brought my wife to him for back pain but she has an unremarkable MRI, I thought he would at least investigate a little further with an exam but i guess that was to much to ask this lazy heartless guy... it's odd cause i even saw another review where they mentioned the doctor saying MRI's aren't people and he diagnoses people, well that's a load of crap. This guy took one look at the MRI and had his mind made up. Didn't even do an exam :( My wife is disabled, our appointment was at 8am, we got up 2 hours early to get ready and this is what we get. So that's my story, hopefully it shows you what kind of guy this is and you can find a better more qualified caring doctor elsewhere

I’ve read mixed reviews about this Dr. and the first visit he was as stated highly dismissive and I felt like I was wasting his time. I gave him benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he had a bad day. Second visit was worst. He is highly dismissive and rushed through the visit, again like I’m wasting his time. He provides information at a high rate of speed and appears to have his mind made up prior to anything that you may have to say. So, I will definitely be going somewhere else or I recommend that OPBC provide more options for doctors that specialize in spine.

Dr. D'Ariano performed ALIF surgery for my L5-S1 herniated disc. After having been reduced to a cripple for months prior to surgery, I woke in the hospital and was able to stand with absolutely no pain in my hips, calves, ankles and feet. One thigh that had been numb for ten years regained feeling. Now, 5 weeks after surgery, I can say that the operation was a 100% success.
