Could sit with him for hours. He loves his job. He told us about the new knee replacement surgery and how much better it was. He listens and tells you what he thinks is best for you.

The visit began before my actual appt. very professional, good bedside manners, and language I can understand. I would recommend him to all of my friends.

I have been unable to go to LSU game, play with my grandchildren, attend church and go fishing because of the wear and tear on my knees. Dr. Murtagh took time to explain my options and work through developing a plan for me. He and his team at The Baton Rouge Bone and Joint Clinic helped me get full function back without pain. I was surprised the care taken before and after my surgery to insure success. They gave me my LIFE back. No amount of money could have been enough to pay for the service. I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Murtagh and his team for care.

He is informative and takes time with the patient and family to explain everything about the surgery/procedures. I have never had a physician who made sure all of my needs were addressed. He called after surgery to make sure we were progressing with medical and physical needs. He has the most amazing communication skills. Some of the points that were critical in recovery he repeated many time to ensure we all understood how to return back to previous health. I have referred several of our friends over 69 years old to him for treatment. Thanks to Dr. Murtagh being helpful we feel comfortable asking any questions. This is a rare communication treatment of caring in today healthcare world.

I normally do not write reviews as there are way to many people with negative comments and lack of manners when it comes to comments and reviews. That being said, I felt it was necessary to write this review regarding my treatment with Dr. Murtagh, his staff, and the crew at the Bone & Joint Clinic in Baton Rouge. I had to have my shoulder rebuilt and I am covered under the VA Choice program. Most doctors will not even provide service under this program due to the red tape, slow and low pay, and

Dr. Murtagh has operated on each of my shoulders - one 3 years ago and one 6 months ago. Both surgeries went well and I have regained total movement in both arms. I highly recommend Dr. Murtagh and his staff: you will get a friendly, knowledgable and skilled doctor and a first-rate support staff. I have full confidence in Dr. Murtagh in the event I ever need another orthopedic procedure again. The Bone & Joint Clinic also has a great physical therapy group too, which I recommend as well.

Dr Murtagh's group are awesome! Dr. Murtaguh preformed a right shoulder reverse replacement on me a little over two weeks ago and I am very pleased with the outcome so far.

Dr. Murtagh is great. He explains the processes in language that anyone can understand. The staff at the Bone and Joint Clinic are very professional and attentive. Wait times are very short when you compare them to normal doctors visits. I highly recommend them if you have any Orthopedic issues.

I saw Dr. Murtagh for my torn rotator cuff by the recommendation of retired Dr. Hagerman. He also came highly recommended my by Physical Therapists. Dr. Murtagh was very nice and enthusiastic. He takes great pride in his profession and his expertise. He took the time to explain how the rotator cuff tear happens and how they operate to fix it. He and his staff are very courteous and attentive to your concerns. Dr. Murtagh repaired my torn rotator cuff 12 weeks ago.
