Dr. Giang Dang, DMD

Upon having a painful, cracked molar, he had about 15 X-rays ordered! Dr. Dang's original plan was to place a crown over the cracked tooth. When I called him saying there was still excruciating pain, he told me to gargle with salt water. Needless to say, that didn't numb it at all. More X-rays were ordered. He finally agreed to have a colleague come in and perform a root canal. Several months later, I had my first cleaning, from his practice. The hygienist performed 20 additional X-rays on my mouth (but she did it via the sides of my face)! This practice uses their patients as if they were the Radium Girls.

What a gem of a place. I’ve been looking for a dentist in the Scottsdale area for a while procrastinating of course because it’s the dentist!! The staff made me feel comfortable immediately after walking through the door. I found the entire team to be welcoming, forthright, genuine and caring. Simply super impressed by the service and the way I was put at ease.

Dr Dang always does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. He is so kind and gentle and makes sure I am comfortable. All the residue is removed and there is no pain.

New to the area and in need of a regular dentist. So glad I found Happy Family. From the initial call, the staff was phenomenal. Easy to make an appointment, got the answers to all my questions, and arrived to a great experience. All I needed was a check up and cleaning. Great customer service. Fantastic hygienist. This was my first visit after my prior dentist of 20 years had retired and I was wowed! They were respectful of my time and took me in as soon as I finished the paperwork. The dental hygienist was extremely knowledgeable and personable, taking the time to explain what she was doing and why and what the Xrays showed. The dentist provided a thorough plan identifying immediate actions as well as future recommendations for my dental health. I was very impressed with the professionalism and personal attention.

Hands down the best dental office I've been to. I usually don't like going to the dentist, but Happy Family Dental Care makes dental check-ups painless and quick. The front desk will always take good care of you. Dr Dang is absolutely amazing with his patients. The housekeeping staff were both gentle and informative.

Wonderful staff! Best overall experience at a dental office I’ve had. The technology was brand new and the staff spent time going over items that typically aren’t explained in visits I’ve had with other offices. Having Netflix and a personal screen with headphones was a great touch

I really enjoy this dentist. The hygienists are nice and friendly and I dont hurt after my appointment. There is hardly any wait and Dr. Dang is very friendly.
