Dr. Fareau is one of the best doctors I've met. He has always put me at ease, listened to and responded to my questions and concerns, and included me in care decisions.

I would like to share with you my experience with Dr. Fareau - to note my father and I are both under the care of Dr. Fareau, we traveled together to Milwaukee to see him and his team from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Dr. Fareau took time with both of us and acknowledged our trip to see him. I have had great endocrinologists in the past and others who looked at me with textbook eyes for my treatment and I have suffered in the past. I know that I am more of anomaly, which is fine and pushes the standard and hopefully research - with that I like others should not sufferer with their condition because it does meet text book standard. Dr. Fareau is very careful with the balance and is willing to work with my body. I appreciate that - because the hardest thing is to suffer because of my uniqueness. I trust Dr. Fareau's treatment plan.

My first visit with this provider. He and his Assistant were caring and professional. They thoroughly explained everything and had me feeling totally at Ease which is very rare for me on a first visit.

I absolutely love my Dr. He went about my expectations this time, I asked him to refer me to the Mayo Clinic since you guys can't get me in until Jan/march - he has always tried to help with any issues I have had, if he can't help me, he always finds the Dr or someone that can help, he will do bloodwork to find out what is going on- he listens to me as a patient- after all these years of seeing him - he understands my frustrations- see's me as a patient's- try's his best to help - if all Drs were like him Healthcare would be great!! Hands down

Dr Fareau and I noticed a test result that was notably different than usual. He was prepared when I arrived to address the result, explained the rationale behind the unique test result (newly automated processing system) and took it a step to confirm the results are in line (had my blood run on the old equipment). Having him take this extra step and be open about why it was different gave me confidence that he is aware of factors that would impact a patient, did the work prior to my appointment to alleviate that concern, and approached the challenge directly. No sugar coating. It's this approach that makes me value our partnership in keeping me cancer free.
