Dr. Kepecs is patient & does not rush while listening to you or while explaining diagnosis & treatment. I will miss this doctor & his very pleasant staff.

First visit was encouraging. The second time I was there he was totally in another planet & pre-occupied. He did not remember what we previously spoke about, he gave me a different treatment plan. He only discussed my options for osteoporosis after I pushed the different treatment plans. Did not order any of his own tests but reviewed my records that I brought with me. I was told I had osteoporosis based on incorrect dexa scan & he never ordered his own. I went to a rheumatologist after him who ordered her own dexa scan & blood work. Turned out I did not have osteoporosis and he was ready to treat me with medication.

I have been a patient since 2006. My Mother was also one and Dr. Kepecs was an instrumental, key doctor in prolonging her life AND especially her quality of life versus Lupus (etc.). I also have two other family members that see him. As for me, I admit that you may be in his waiting room for a bit, but when you are in the examination room he is patient, all ears, and gives you all the time and attention you require. Perhaps that is why you wait, he is in HIGH DEMAND. His calm demeanor is perfect for anyone who finds their way into a specialist's office, because you're there for a reason (not as if a primary care physician). Dr. Kepecs is worth the wait to get an appointment, all specialists have a wait.

Didn’t even get to make an appointment the secretary refused to even do that for me. First she asks what ins. I have. I tell her and then she says THEY DONT ACCEPT INSURANCE. But then goes on to state that they accept in network?? Gets better - when I asked her to run my insurance data she REFUSED. As if that all wasn’t all enough, she then said “the next appointment you’ll be able to get is until July”. I feel bad for the Dr. I hope he sees this review and hires someone more competent, who doesn’t hate their job & other any sort of human interaction.

Dr. Kelics is the finest doctors in this country. I have been a patient for eleven years and met him when I was near death. During a slow and pricise program along with his extremely high intelligence in all fields of medicine he gave me a normal life back again. Aside from his extreme medical knowledge and the ultimate respect he receives from other medical professions throughout the industry his kind and patient first attitude is what keeps his patience’s coming back. GREAT office staff too!!!
