Difficult to get him to refill prescriptions
I started calling a week and a half prior to needing the prescriptions refilled. I called daily and was promised by the front desk that they would be called in to the pharmacy. The pharmacy also sent 3 faxes over to his office requesting the refills, but no response from him to either the pharmacy or me. I was without the prescription for 2 days before I finally got the refills approved and I believe it was only because I said I was going to come into his office to wait for the prescriptions in person.

asked if i was sexually assaulted ?!!!
literally went in for physical problems, he was asking about my mental health which i told him was poor at the time, then proceeded to tell him i have a good psychiatrist and thats not why im there. ordered a blood test for 2 things i already knew the answer too, which i told him. just continued to ask about my mental health. asked to see the scars on my upper thigh. then as i was leaving asked if i had been sexually assaulted. also tried to perscribe me migraine pills when i told him i have a 24 7 LOW LEVEL headache, that GOES AWAY WITH OTC PILLS when i just wanted to find out why it was happening….

I had this loser doctor from 2015 to 2018. Early on about 2016 I had one of my ears completely plug up and I couldn't hear anything out of it for about 3 weeks and finally I went to this doctor about it and his nurse assistant at the time(who was a good gal) was going to give me a warm water ear flush with a spray instrument and doctor martinez wouldn't let her and instead prescribed me antibiotics. That really upset me because I believe that ear flush would have melted the wax out. So eventually after about 2 weeks of not being able to hear, my ear finally unplugged. I have allergies and an FMLA that he renewed for me a couple times the first couple of years and then he tried to screw with my FMLA renewal in 2018 and I dropped him. He was always ordering blood work for me for no reason. He said I had a breathing obstruction once and sent me for a chest MRI that came back negative - a wild goose chase. I filed with the Ca. Medical Board when he tried to charge me $85. for records.

Absolutely one of the worst doctors I have seen. I was referred to this doctor by my insurance. I am very limited on who I can see with my current health ins. He is incompetent, does not follow up, and never sends my prescriptions he says he prescribes me to the pharmacy. His office never picks up, they send you straight to voicemail. You are lucky if you get a call back.

Terrible doctor, doesn’t care about anything you are going through or what you have to say. Won’t refer you to any specialists or anything of that nature. He’s unprofessional and negligent. His staff is rude, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. This establishment does not use proper PPE measures or clean techniques. This doctor and this establishment needs to be reported for malpractice and indecent health and safety precautions.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He is a waste of time, waste of a doctors license. We have been his patient for about two years and still doesn’t remember our names or the medications he is giving us. we switched from kaiser and since then we have felt worst in our health than ever before. He rushes his patients, doesn’t give them the correct care, his staff is un professional. And we will be switching to a new doctor immediately after being put on hold by him to attend another patient. Once we find a new doctor, and figure out what is wrong with my health, that dr Martinez chose to ignore I will be filing a lawsuit against this man who obviously doesn’t care about his patients. A family medicine doctor should get to know his patients and even after coming almost every month still can’t recall meeting me is an absolute joke.

An inept doctor and office. Don't hold your breathe trying to get through to them, never answer the phone or give call backs. If you do get an appointment, pack a lunch you'll be there waiting a long time. When you finally do get to see him, he doesn't know anything. Went for the hives. He said you got the hive. Thanks doc you want to give treatment, cause or anything. nope.

It's not necessarily Dr. Martinez but it is his staff mainly since they are the ones we have to rely on for follow ups and referrals to be sent timely. Also when they say they will call you right back it never happens then they pull an attitude with you for bugging them again waiting for an answer. The staff that represents the office means everything and I feel they are bringing the doctor's rating down because of their own flaws. Pretty sad really. Can't seem to get good help nowadays.

Dr. MARTINEZ IS A GREAT DOCTOR, BUT WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS. They call you in the room, do blood pressure, temp and you wait there 40 min again. And its every time you go to see him.

His office is always behind schedule. I am usually waiting an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor. Last time I went to the office it was messy with trash on the floor in the exam room. I will not be returning to this offce again.
