Dr. Selkin is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He is engaging and friendly making you feel at ease. He explained everything well and listened. On the day of surgery, I felt relaxed and confident that everything would turn out well. Dr Selkin followed up that weekend to ask how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr Selkin and his staff which are just as professional and friendly. I wish the rest of my dental process was being done at his office.

Basal Cell Facial Repair
Wow, what can I say about Dr. Selkin and his staff. I went in for Mohs surgery and found out my repair was way more than expected. I ended up having surgery to repair my face and from start to finish it has been so good. I broke out in a rash from the adhesive bandage and Dr. Selkin took time out of his holiday weekend to take care of me. His office staff is top notch too. I’m so blessed I had a great doctor to take such great care of me and my face.

A place I’d send my mother to get work done
I had an urgent problem they led to extraction and they bent over to get me worked in on their schedule. The experience was fantastic for oral surgery lol. Great personalitys, and informative and all that. Brand new office all state of the art. They even had to improvise mid surgery. Dr. Selkin himself worked on my wacky case. The doctor is just a badass. And that’s what u want to take your teeth out. Now that I’m awake I can see how detailed they were throughout the process that I didn’t catch because I was in pain. A proper thorough detail work on my case included catching things I didn’t or even think about. Thank you guys!

Facial reconstruction post MOHS
First let me just say, I’m only 35, so this whole experience prior to Dr. Selkin and the reason for having to see him, was quite difficult for me to process. Recently I had gone to my dermatologist for a spot I didn’t have any clue what it was. After the biposy came back positive for skin cancer, I was told I would need it removed, but due to the delicate location of it, I would also need plastic surgery. Dr. Selkin was recommended by the dermatologist as he specializes in facial cancer removals. The removal was slightly traumatizing but efficient. The next day I went to Dr. Selkin’s practice and from the moment I walked in, his staff were extremely warm and inviting. They were calm and kind and didn’t make me feel like my many questions were a burden, rather they genuinely listened and assured me I was in a safe place and that I would be well cared for. I was very nervous about my first appointment with Dr. Selkin. I could not have been more at ease after meeting him. I was married to a dentist and worked for many oral surgeons and orthodontists in my past careers. My visit was wonderful, he was wonderful, staff was wonderful, and I would highly recommend him to any and everyone.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Selkin truly is!! He helped me greatly in a time of need. I had suffered facial fractures and required surgery. However, I waited longer than I should've to get the procedure. Dr. Selkin identified this on my first visit to his office. I saw him on Monday and 6 days later I was having my operation. Dr. Selkin literally had to remove my upper face and put it back together and even after 2 weeks there were no visible signs. He went out of his way to check on me personally and he single handedly guided me through my recovery and the entire healing process. Dr. Selkin was a blessing for me in my situation. He is like an angel in human form!! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Selkin! His staff is also very kind and helpful. Dr. Selkin is the BEST and I would recommend him everyday of the week!

I went to Dr. Selkin to have a Basil Cell Carcinoma removed from my left lower eye lid. My eye has healed and there are virtually no signs of the surgery. This was by far the best surgeon and team I've ever experienced. Dr. Gil and his staff including Becca, Lauren, Ashley and Sam make you feel so at home and comfortable, they are the most caring team you will ever meet. Dr. Gil text me regularly (including Saturday evenings) after the surgery to check to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. If anyone is looking for a Oral or Maxillofacial Surgeon I highly recommend Dr. Selkin and his team. Kevin Green

A wonderful,skillful,caring doctor !! My husband ,86 years old, had an extensive squamous carcinoma surgery which Dr. Gilbert performed beautifully ! It was a difficult job , but he tackled it with the masterful performance ! We are very grateful and will recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone !,,

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews, but Dr. Selkin and his staff deserve one. My son need all 4 wisdom teeth taken out, but sedation was a concern due to a family history of MH. Dr. Selkin too the time to find a doctor that would test my son, which came back negative. Dr. Selkin was able to do the surgery in the office, and did absolutely amazing. The whole office are exceptional, and very caring. My son has had no complications, and has not needed to take any pain medicine.

Had Basel cell carcinoma surgery done by him. No follow up calls from neither doctor nor office staff. I had to contact the office to set up a follow up appointment. All I got was a piece of paper with instructions what to do and expect the first 48hours after surgery. I will not go back to him.

Dr. Selkin is a highly skilled oral surgeon with a very caring heart toward his patients. All three of my children had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Gil Selkin: each experienced an easy recovery and full healing. He is very intelligent and clearly explains what he sees in the X-rays prior to the surgery. Dr. Selkin's physical strength. intelligence, and experience contributed to my older son's successful surgery, although it was very complicated due to his physiology. I recommend Dr. Gil!

Dr. Selkin is absolutely the best! Very professional and caring surgeon with a great bedside manner, which is hard to find these days. My surgery was a total success, and nobody can even tell that I had surgery. He has done surgery on several of my family members as well and we all feel the same way! His staff and assistants are awesome too. They are professional and make you feel so comfortable.

I believe that Dr. Selkin saved my life. Several years ago I was going to the Dentist on a regular bases. I developed a soreness in my gums. The dentist would tell me to take a pain pill. That did not help so they sent me to Dr Selkin. he gave me a CT scan and found that I had oral cancer. Thanks to him I am still here and just a few days ago I went to see him and told him that he had saved my life.

I had a cyst on my neck removed last week by Dr. Selkin. The procedure went smooth and there was little pain afterwards. He did a great job making the scar as small as possible even with it being in a sensitive location. I would highly recommend Dr. Selkin.
