Dr. Gilberto Gastell, MD

Doctor Gastell not only makes you feel how much he cares about my condition but also encourages me to learn how to live what I still have and never to give up. He is more than a doctor, he is a true earth angel.

Great caring professional

Dr Gastell is an excellent physician and diagnostician. Yes, the wait is long, but if you have health issues, then he is the best person to see for correct diagnosis or be directed to proper specialist. I am forever grateful for his care, ability, and professionalism.

Dr. Gilberto Gastell is a great human being, he is our doctor for more than 15 years, I do not mind waiting for the time that is if in the end I am going to consult with a great professional and above all with a great capacity to understand you as a person. We are happy with him ??

Impossible to see him in Teaneck. Always get an NP.. He has been my pcp for over a year and only saw him once with a 7 hour wait. He is awful. Treated me so quick without explaining anything. They also never told me my ultrasound required a biopsy from a test I had in 2017. Now I may be in trouble. Don't waste your time or your health going there.

His office is horrible. Appointment time is for nothing. You will wait 4 h. No joke!!! his staff is rude condescending. He is a mediocre doctor with old school Spanish knowledge. Please don't go to him and deal with him or his staff

Dr. Gastell keeps his patients with appointments waiting in a small waiting room for 6 hours with other sick people while you wait to be attended. After your long wait and numerous walks to the car to put money in the meter, you get a nurse practitioner. All this doctor does is provide medication and does not take time to understand the pain his patients are going through and alternative solutions. My mother had trouble walking for 3 years and when potential surgery was brought up he told my mother she would end up paralyzed. My mother was at the point of giving up on life living through pain. Once we changed her primary doctor within 6 months she had various opinions from various doctors, had surgery and is now living a normal life without pain. It seems that Dr. Gastell is on the path to retirement and no longer cares to take time with his patients and all he does is provide a little small talk and jokes.

Dr. Gilberto does NOT care about his patients AT ALL. Last year, 2 family members and I had 2 appointments with Dr. Gilberto each. The three of us had the same unpleasant experience. We were looking for a family primary doctor we can trust, instead we got Dr. Gastell Gilberto making us spend hundreds of dollars in unnecessary lab exams, and unnecessary drug prescriptions. Please, avoid this irresponsible doctor at all cost!

Such an amazing doctor!! He spends time getting know his patients and genuinely cares. He is incredibly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond any expectations you could possess for a doctor to be. He truly does all he can for his patients and never turns them away no matter what time. He really is what doctors today should strive to be!!
