Dr. Gillian Esser, MD

Dr. Esser really cares about her patients. She listens to what my concerns are and has helped resolve my hormones and thyroid imbalances where my past doctors never took the time to really dial my Rx in. She is compassionate and caring and strives to help us live our best life. I am very grateful that I have found Dr. Esser!

Dr Esser was my 2nd opinion. Within 1 week of my first appointment she had resolved what had taken other Gynecologists years. I had been given bandaid after bandaid. Just this past Friday I ended up needing emergency surgery for my last remaining ovary. My husband contacted her immediately and she was there before the OR was ready. I cannot recommend her enough. She is brilliant at what she does and cares about her patients.

Dr. Esser has taken the time to listen carefully to my concerns as a postmenopausal woman. She recommended the Mona Lisa procedure to help with specific changes to my body since menopause. I am totally happy with the success of the treatments and the overall results. Dr. Esser and her staff are caring, compassionate people and I feel very confident in her practice.

Highly recommend. Trust in a doctor is huge. Whether it’s going through the weird experience of your first PAP or having surgery, I trust Dr. Esser entirely and that means a lot. Her office is also very welcoming and she’s always open to talk about any issue. I’ve moved away from silverdale but I won’t stop coming back to see her. Wonderful woman.

Initially thought her practice was great. Over time, sadly, came to realize that a lot the negative reviews you will find online are true. Dr. Esser is human just like any of us, and so is her staff, and they all need to realize that they are not above anyone. The office is not run well, for example: billing and record issues, medical records out of date, poor staff attitudes, and poor patient treatment. She also tried diagnosing me with a condition that I did not even have - had a second opinion and some testing later, there is no reason she should have diagnosed me with that condition as there was no clinical evidence of it! Unbelievable! I suspect it was for higher insurance payments and she thought she could get a way with it. Scary to think what could have happened to me if I kept going along with all of her recommendations (then and the ones to come). Yes, do yourself a favor and avoid her!

I have been a patient of Dr. Esser’s for over 15 years. She truly cares about her patients whole health. She sits down with you and takes time with you. I never feel rushed. I am high risk for breast cancer and she makes sure I am getting the best preventative care. She follows up with me on my mammogram’s and MRI’s. She makes sure I do them! When she did my hysterectomy years ago. All the nurses loved her at Harrison, the nurses told me “you are in good hands with Dr. Esser”. I was treated special in the hospital because and I quote “ she is Doctor Esser’s patient”. The nurses clearly highly respected her. I feel very lucky to have her as my gynecologist.

Dr. Esser is amazing! She is remarkably intelligent, personable, and professional! I have been going to her for at least 15 years and she always goes out of her way to address any questions, concerns and or issues I have.

She was very thorough and supportive. Dr Esser actually listened and was able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong and help correct it. She is amazing.

I would highly recommend Dr. Esser! She never seems rushed and listened to everything I had to say before making a suggestion. She showed me how to get more information from her library on her website as well as other pertinent articles. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr.Esser!

Dr Essser has helped me with many aspects of my health. She has always been warm and caring but also very informed and professional. I have appreciated the time she has taken to solve the problems and not just prescribe a new medication. Most of of she listens to me and values my input in to my treatment.

They are on top of their billing, and expecting payment on accounts due before services doesn't bother me at all. My life changed when I Met Dr Esser! She’s been my Gynecologist for over 10 years and her knowledge and genuine concern for her patients is the best I’ve experienced from any Doctor. She never rushes you into treatment and helps you make informed decisions. She is our female family physician as we entrust her care for our daughter as well. We are so fortunate to have such an incredible Physican and health resource in our community.

Dr Esser spent months adjusting my medication for heavy and painful periods. I can tolerate them now. I wish I would have found her years ago.

I have been a patient of Dr Esser for many years. She is an amazing, caring and attentive Doctor. I now drive 5 hours so I may continue to receive her excellent care.

Had been a patient of hers until recently, but have recently questioned her practices and decided to look into it further. (1) Make sure blood work is done before prescribing medications.(2 )If she offers a procedure, make sure she explains why she's doing it. (3) Get a second opinion if she recommends a procedure.(4) If she ask you what procedure you want done, RUN, isn't that her job to know. (5) DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR! Remember she is self-employed, she work for herself.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Esser. I am thankful to have someone who really listens to me. It's a fantastic bonus that she does not deliver babies so my appointments are not cancelled due to a delivery and you are seen promptly. I get great care from her & have recommended many of my friends to her. She's the best gynecologist I've ever been to.

Amazing surgeon and wonderful Doctor that supported alternate medicine approach to some health issues. Had 2 very successful surgeries one was very short term notice and Dr. Esser and her staff were outstanding.

Dr. Esser is an excellent, caring and thorough doctor. She has been looking after my health for years and I'm in a great place thanks to her. She is patient, explains everything and doesn't make me feel there is no time for my questions, ever. I have a family history of breast cancer so she worked up a personal testing schedule for me to make sure all is well in my body. I feel safe with Dr. Esser and I think the world of her.
