Not Kind
I do not recommend Dr. Dorneanu. She was the only available physician in a 20 mile radius in the Aurora network and I needed a refill on my medication so I made the appointment. I saw her in April 2024. I am a stay at home mom, and she seemed to question that, and said “you need to make sure you’re working your brain”. She was not warm, not personable, and just didn’t make me feel comfortable. I understand now why I was able to get an appointment with her. Recently I contacted her about an issue I was experiencing. She messaged back, but as if she was talking to her nurse who initially responded to my message. She was mean and made me feel so silly for reaching out to her for the first place. As I went to leave this review, I see that this is not uncommon practice for her-someone else who left a review before me experienced the same thing. I highly suggest to stay away from this doctor.

Just so Mean and Shameful
I was experiencing some symptoms over the weekend and messaged her. She forwarded the message to a nurse below her, not realizing I could see what she was also saying. She wrote in all caps how the patient (me) wrote her more than once and rather than addressing my concerns, she just expressed her annoyance. Rather than following up, she sent me to a specialty doctor who was confused as to why she just didn't schedule another exam herself. She humiliated me and made me embarrassed, even though I had super valid symptoms. My in-office visits were met with discrediting any concerns I was having or wanted to talk about. I left feeling really, really small.

Terrible Dr. I saw her a few yrs back, & she treated me horribly, even staying shed8read what another provider had said about me. Didn't take my health concerns seriously, even to the point of yelling at me. What a horrible Dr & experience. Avoid her like the plague.

I have been going to Dr. Gina Dorneaun for about 5 years now. I was referred by my mother. She need to be re-taught on bedside manner. I always feel rush when I visit her. If it wasn't for her MA Paula I would've been found a new Dr. She is rude and she don't know how to talk to people. I complained about a sharp on going pain for about a year. She kept telling me lose weight and it's because I was over weight and etc. I came in again for the same problem and she finally said, "what do you want me to do? " "Order a ultrasound of your'e stomach" we did ultrasound and we learned I had gallstones. The surgeon that removed my gallstone stated, that my gallbladder was very 'SICK" and the Pathologist cut/diced my gallbladder about 42 times to make sure my gallbladder wasn't cancerous and if I didn't get it removed when I did it possible it would've turn cancerous, which would've turned into a more complicated problem. I will be finding another Dr very soon, but I agree with these reviews!

I love her!! I need a very specific method of getting my daily drugs. This because I am a snow bird living on a sailboat 6 months of the year. She always gives me what I need. She is kind and caring. If she seems fast or brusque it is because the AURORA system does not give her the time to practice medicine. How do you think they build all those big blue buildings. Working their doc and pumping us thru at an insane pace.

Completely disrespectful. Would never see this provider again. Very rushed and disregards concerns. Horrifying bedside manner. If you need anything more than a basic yearly physical, highly recommend going elsewhere.

She is AWFUL. Is there a way to double capitalize that? I have seen her on multiple occasions (not by choice but because I didn't have time to wait for a new patient appt). I very reluctantly scheduled an appointment with her for clinical requirement purposes and it was worse than ever. She has a demeanor as if she hates her life and patients, constantly complained of wanting to go home. Does NOT take your problems seriously. I mean a really awful provider. Avoid her like the plague.

This physician is beyond disrespectful. She is so very rude, and unapproachable. I have NEVER in my entire life, experienced such ill mannered treatment as I did when I saw this woman while seeking medical attention. The board committee needs to advise her to retire, or they should address her insolent behavior. She walks around as if she hates her life in general, and takes it out on the patients. I am appalled that Aurora has a doctor such as this working with the public! Disgusting!

I came to her office with two painful conditions, but she would only address one during my visit and insisted that I make an appointment another day for my other issue, even though I was in pain. In addition, she did not even ask which condition was more painful and just decided for herself which one she was going to work up. She also kept interrupting me while I was talking and spent more time looking at her computer screen than at me. I felt like she completely ignored me and my main concern.

I feel like she wasn't taking my problems seriously. She would shrug them off as unimportant. I had to go to a different doctor to get access to efficient medication to help me quit smoking. She refused to try something different and kept pushing the same medication that did not work the first time. I am now smoke free one year. I feel each person should have an individualized plan, not one fits all. Would never recommend .
