Rude, dismissive, unhelpful
In 2022, I saw her in OB triage. She let me know that I did not know what a contraction felt like and that she had 3 babies from where I lived and made it to the hospital every time. Well, I ended up having to go via ambulance and delivered my baby in the triage room with no epidural minutes after I arrived. My babies heart rate was dropping and they had to use forceps as she had passed meconium. I was gaslit by her and other medical staff. When I was actually in labor, I doubted myself because of what this dr said to me. Had I not had a fear of going into OB triage, I would have made it to the hospital without an ambulance and traumatic delivery. Husband was out of country on deployment and was asked numerous times where my husband was and it was very difficult to get my support person to be approved to come upstairs. I expressed numerous times my husband was on deployment.

The staff was a bit frustrating to work with at times but Dr. Frugoni made it all worth it. She is amazing, super smart, and genuinely cares about her patients. The quality of my care during surgery was top notch, I experienced no complications, and my hysterectomy scars are super flat and tiny. There aren't a lot of doctors out there like this, Dr. Frugoni was truly a pleasure. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

Dr. Frugoni is a dedicated physician who works tirelessly to address issues during pregnancy. Easy to talk to, makes you feel like you've known her all your life. Highly recommend her at UCSD Hillcrest facility
