The wait time is always very long but that’s because Dr B takes his time to thoroughly answer all patient questions and provide answers and advice during appointments. His knowledge, determination to find the correct diagnosis and best individualized course of treatment, and very kind, caring bedside manner are well worth the wait. You’re receiving treatment for blood cancer, not getting an oil change. Additionally Dr B is a cancer survivor himself so he’s ‘been there.’

Dr. Bottino is an amazing physician. He is thorough, careful, pleasant, reassuring and takes the time to explain things properly. He is also quite expert in his craft, and was able to determine that I had been misdiagnosed by another hematological oncologist. He was a very solid anchor at a time of great uncertainty.

During every scheduled appt, the wait time was extensive followed by an exam in which Dr. Bottino looked at his computer screen. Very poor interpersonal skills, especially for a specialist dealing with very ill patients! I will find another doctor!
