Dr. Giselle Mery, MD

Giselle Mery now works for Mission cancer center in Iowa. During my visit, she ordered a $1000 test without my consent. I tried to contacted her once I got the bill and didn't get any reply until a month later. However, during our conversation, she seemed dismissive of my concerns and shifted the blame onto the laboratory, rather than taking responsibility for the lack of communication and consent regarding the test. She ordered the test just because my white blood cell was a little bit below the standard. Without asking more questions or analyzing more details, she used the extremely expensive test instead of her professional knowledgement, to rule out the slight possibility of leukemia.
