HorribleThough I typically refrain from leaving reviews,this instance warrants an exeption. As a retired Nurse I've encountered various medical offices, but none have left me as disheartened as this one. The level of unprofessionionalism and carelessness among the staff, particually the MA of Dr. Englander is unparalleled. While Dr. Englander's treatment was satisfactory,the same cannot be said for the office's handling of administrative matters. To communicate with the office is comparable as playing the lottery as it is impossible to get to the office or to get a call back. It's been a month since my Endoscopy in March,yet I'm still awaiting for complete results from the Endoscopy.. Due to the office negligence in sending the necessary request to the lab all the testing were not done. Despite numerous attemps to contact them including international calls and voice messages there has been no respond yet about the results. I will not recommend this office to anybody. Horrible

Dr Enlander Has seen my mother four years ago in the hospital. I trust the care that he gives and in his skill as an Dr. I would not hesitate to see him myself.

I'm 81. Dr. Englander is highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and very thorough. He spent almost an hour on my endoscopy to find problems and to make a correct diagnosis. Highly recommend Dr. Englander to anyone with a serious problem who needs a life-saving diagnosis or treatment.

I have been a patient of Dr Englander for almost 10 years. His staff has always been pleasant, professional and friendly. He, is very caring and patient.

Nightmare, histories of family cancer,cancer survivors. His and hers procedures scheduled separate dates. Called to re-shedule his more than 24hrs ahead. Office dropped the ball, Dr. blamed patient in person, very rude. She had the procedure anyway. Dr. indicated to him," alls well for 5 yrs. (No polyps). " 5 months later, primary care physician indicateds colon full of polyps on report. This guy has not any credibility, anger management issues,and hopefully his lying will not result in colon cancer in this case. No bueno.

Stay away from this Doctor's office. Horrible waiting time over 1 hour and when he is ready to see you asks you to come into the same room he sees all his patients, never cleans it or anything. The phone staff that confirm appointments are disrespectful and want it their way. It seems they forgot who pays their bills. Just as a reminder, without us the patients, there is no work for you, so start treating people right, clean that dirty place and have a courteous and ethical manner to threat customers/patients.

I happen to think Doctor Englander is WONDERFUL. He is very thorough and knowledgeable yet he listens & makes me feel like a peer. I dont think its fair that he receives bad reviews as a doctor because of the dislike of his office staff. Doctors depend on the office managers to handle office matters. People should email the office directly to express concerns and not ruin the doctors reputation over it. Dr. Englander is a GREAT GASTROENTEROLOGIST L.Rizzi

I would give less stars if i could. Please don't waste your time or money with this Dr. or his staff you will be seriously disappointed. He will charge you a copay for everything from results you payed for to prescription refills . Very unfriendly and unprofessional to staff being just the like. Good luck getting ahold of them , probably will get answering service with no call back.

Never call you back. Very unprofessional staff. Will be seeking a new gastro. Seems like this doctor is ready to retire and cares nothing about his patients.

My son was scheduled to have a colonoscopy on April 25th and because of the unprofessional staff in his office, they canceled his appointment and never notified him and he found out through a patient portal at 2:30 pm on Friday, April 21, 2017. He called them this morning and some KID told him he had cancelled it but my son never did and I am a witness to this. If anything happens to my son because of this I am holding this doctor and staff responsible. He waited 4 weeks for this test.

Don't waste your time! I called to confirm my appointment for a colonoscopy the morning of my prep day. I then get a rude kid named Justin accuse me of calling the prior Friday cancelling my procedure. They insisted I cancelled even when I made it clear I haven't spoken to anyone from that office since my last visit. Staff is horrible and I would never let that weirdo doctor get any where near my rear end...

My husband had terrible abdominal pain, could not eat for close to a week, etc. Dr. Englander's office got my husband in immediately as a new patient, evaluated him, and started treatment. Dr. Englander spent a good amount of time, was very detail oriented, answered all of our questions, and was very thorough offering a plan of care. The entire staff were very processional, courteous, and intelligent. They handled their patients with care and compassion. The office was very organized.

The other comment about the office staff was correct. I've never been there & was trying to make a first appt, and the 1st time they hung up on me, and the 2nd time I was told that the staff was coming back from a late lunch & they told the answering service to tell me to call back later. Hopefully the Dr. gets these because he has some major house cleaning to do!! Will never see the Dr.

WORST OFFICE TO GET ANY INFORMATION, WORST OF THE WORST, THE PATIANT IS TREATED WITH ZERO RESPECT. WORST OFFICE STAFF EVER. GOOD LUCK SPEAKING TO ANYONE IN THE OFFICE. FIND A NEW DOCTOR
