Great Pediatrician
We've been seeing Dr. Chu since my daughter's pediatrician stopped practicing. She has been fantastic. It's easy to get in with her for a sick visit, but the well child check-ups can take a bit to get scheduled so if you know you need one you should definitely call way in advance. Dr. Chu is very patient with my daughter, who gets scared easily with medical procedures. She didn't even get mad when my daughter accidentally freaked out and kicked her in the face when she was freezing a wart off her foot. Dr. Chu has been wonderful with my girl and never dismisses my concerns, no matter what they are. She listens to everything and gives great advice and feedback. I can't recommend her highly enough. We won't see anyone but her unless it's an emergency.

Always takes the time to explain symptoms and remedies. Never felt rushed at all. A great physician in my opinion and both my kids love her.

Dr. Chu is usually a wonderful Dr. but she always appears rushed. Took my daughter in for a wellness check up and it almost appeared as if she disbelieved me when I was stating information about my child's diet. She also asked had I taken a nutrition class after the fact that I had just stated that I was in nursing school. Not even mention that she lied to me when I asked about my daughter being predispositioned to obesity by genetics. I also have a bachelor's in health science!

My 13 yr old was seen today and she did not even talk to him and ask him questions. I answered a few questions on a form. She did not have time to fully review his medical records to check height history which was my major concern.

These negative reviews are crazy to me because Dr. Chu is the most caring doctor we've ever had. She doesn't not rush, even gave my daughter's doll an exam first to make my daughter feel comfortable. Very thorough. Once gave me her cell phone number when my daughter was really sick so that we could call her after hours instead of the nurse line if there was an emergency. Great nurses and office staff, they always are excited to see my daughter and she loves it. I recommend them to anyone.

She is rushing and does not care about my child. Also double billed for a well-baby AND sleep disorder (of course, my insurance company don't pay for it) because I ask her some questions about my child's sleeping habit!!!!

My sons' have been patients of Dr.Chu for approximately 8 months. I don't know where these reviews are coming from, but she has ALWAYS shown interest in my sons health. Not only does she take her time with us, she listens and shows empathy. She ordered lab work for one of my son's and not more than 3 hours later she called me personally to notified me the results. I highly recommend her!

This is a factory where you and your child are nothing more than a number. The feelings I have after visiting here are very similar to how I feel after leaving the DMV. I have been going here for 9 months; not because I like the practice but because I've been dreading going through the hassle of changing. She's a very robot-like doctor, not very empathetic or seemingly kid friendly. The times I've gone, I feel like they don't enjoy what they do, they are rushing.

Dr. Chu has a friendly, calming, caring presence, she made me and my child feel at ease. She did not seem hurried and I felt we had her full attention. As an RN myself, I appreciate that she doesn't push medications or unnecessary workups. If there are any continuing issues with my toddler, I can reach her or Dr. Morrison with questions or issues, which gave me peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chu and this practice.

Limited by word count 2 hour wait. First impression = friendly, caring, and thorough. Said DD seemed healthy but low weight. To be safe ordered lab work and nutrition consult. Double Billed Found out she diagnosed DD as failure to thrive from insurance company complained about double bill (pre-lab/consult) So the Dr. who saw something wrong enough to order blood work (pretty traumatic stuff for a six year old) + a consult refused to follow up w/DD. Found out day of appointment.

Dr. Chu was fantastic. We weren't scheduled to see her but our usual doctor had just moved to this office and was overbooked. She was thorough and friendly and really seemed interested in my daughter's health. After a nearly two hour wait, that was a relief. But then I got a bill from my daughter's yearly well visit that included a well visit AND a sick visit because we discussed my daughters lack of growth at an appointment meant to evaluate her growth.
