Do not use Gloria Sung for primary physician. Sung does not check the body during exams. There are expected things a doctor checks such as heart rate, reflexes, breast exam in physical exams and she does none of it. The nurse said to take clothes off and put on gown, but Sung does nothing to check the body. The whole exam is a talk and she does not know how to answer all the questions or give recommendations on how to resolve. After exam, she does not respond to questions even after follow up for her answers. Sung does not explain the lab tests ordered or the lab results.

Dr Gloria Sung has been my primary care doctor for many years and I have found her to be one of the best physicians I have worked with in my 72 years. She is professional, through, listens and asks questions and always gets right back to me. She is also one of the most caring people I have ever encountered in the medical profession, her "bedside manner" is calm and reassuring. She is consistent in her follow thru, and looks at me and not my chart during our visits. if I could give her more than five stars I would she is definitely a ten star physician.

In my opinion, Dr Sung is miserable in her current profession and should pursue a career where her suffering is not inflicted on others. She has no interest or bandwidth to help patients.

I would recommend her highly. I had her for years and would drive quite far to South San Francisco just to see her. She was incredibly helpful in my various health problems and was very responsive.
