Dr. Gloria Yanez, DDS

Gloria’s review Dr. Gloria Yanez is an angel. She is an absolute miracle worker. My son suffers from anxiety. He freaks out at the dentist. My wife and I have been through several dentists, just trying to find the right one to get through to him. Dr. Yanez came highly recommended from friends and family, so we made the 2-hour trip up to Austin to see her. I was so amazed at how my son responded to her. No words could describe my relief and awe. She did a masterful job of taking care of my son’s teeth. And all her staff are so kind. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in the door. I am so, so grateful, and so are my wife and son. Thank you, Dr. Yanez!

Dr. Yanez's care for our son's extraction procedure was horrifying. He was not showing any sign the "happy gas" was working. I questioned it, but they continued. (The "bunny nose" tube had been upside down.) I cannot forget his shrieks and writhing as they began extraction. I asked and asked, but she would not stop to see if he was numb. She kept telling (and showing) him how much he was bleeding and to calm down and stop crying. Afterward, she insisted on talking AT him instead of with me

Dr. Gloria Yanez was so completely wonderful and amazing with my kids - the best pediatric dentist I have EVER been to! She has this playful way with the kids that just gets them to calm down and cooperate and makes it such a good experience! And when my kid had to have a filling and crown, she put alot of effort into encouraging my kid to comfortable and took breaks when needed, so my kid was really at ease. Dr. Yanez really stresses doing the right thing for the kids, and that's so super:)
