Scary that He is still practicing Medicine
The wait time was long. The office layout is like a maze and other people were getting lost. The staff is not welcoming or friendly. The little nurse person who types everything in after they call you back was overly personal and too talkative. The Dr walked in and looked at me condescendingly and then said the student would see me. This was my first and only visit to this Dr. the student walked in and asked me how long I had had ——-. I did not know I was already diagnosed yet… I said define —— then she did a ton of suspect things with the reflex hammer doing nothing really and grabbed my hands and my ankles. It was very unprofessionally done actually. Because she pulled harder on one side than the other… then she went out for a while and Dr Hidalgo came in and started talking to her and said, the obese patient will always have these sort of problems” he was not even speaking to me. The he said, “ai will electrocute you” and “get out of my life”. I asked him what he meant he did not

My visit was at the Hardtner medical facility in Urania. I found him thorough and personable, things I like in a doctor. He was also highly recommended by my primary care doctor.

I don't know how this doctor comes recommended by anyone. As a new patient (1st visit) I waited 90 minutes in the lobby, 30 minutes in the exam room only to see the doctor for about 10 minutes. I was extremely less than pleased and told him so. Second was quick since, I didn't see the doctor. Third time for follow up, I waited over an hour, saw the nurse for a few minutes, saw the doctor for less. Seven weeks from original appointment and two weeks from last I'm still waiting for them to call in my prescription. This after I've called many times asking about it and I get the brush off.

Don’t plan on seeing him when you go to your appointment but plan on paying your co-pay for his nurse to ask you how you are and tell you “make another appointment for *insert number* weeks” and then repeat. This office is a joke and just wants your money for literally not working.

My mother had a stroke. Our first neurologist in the hospital was not very active in trying to research and identify the root cause. So we requested a second opinion. Dr Hidalgo talked to and with my mom. Looked over notes and charts multiple times while with us. Worked with the family on suggestions and concerns and went the extra mile to diagnose and treat her.

If I could give him 0 stars I would. Dr. Himself is rude point blank and does not listen to his patients. To make a long story short he misdiagnosed me for 10 years and tried to rush me into brain surgery without doing any test first. When I insisted on test is when he realized he had misdiagnosed me and no surgery was needed. Now I am trying to see a new Dr and my medical records for the last 10 years have disappeared when requested by new Dr. Stay away from this Dr!

The office staff was fine. The wait time is longer than expected once you get in a room. Dr. Hidalgo’s responses are quick and short. It’s hard to understand everything he’s saying already and him rushing doesn’t help. His nurse practitioner seems uncaring and unfriendly. Paper work is slow to be filled out. Personally, I would not recommend them. It’s sad because neurologist’s are very limited in this area.

This clinic has a long wait time to get in. When at your appointment, you get to a room fairly quickly and the wait inside the room is about average. The dr. Seemed impatient, unwilling to listen, and uncaring. Fairly blunt and unsympathetic.

Dr. Hidalgo took care of my sister in law, after we saw several different neurologists out of town. He immediately made the right diagnosis and treated her accordingly. He is very busy, but he still took his time and was very compassionate with us.
