Unfortunately I had an encounter with Dr. Carr in the ICU at Banner Hospital. He's the most calloused, arrogant, and impersonal doctor I've ever made contact with. He's a disservice to the medical profession.

Dr Carr is a callous human being
Our teenage son was on life support, asking for a 2nd opinion outside of Banner and more time with family to come in. Blinded sided by a meeting with Carr. He told us in 45 minutes he decided to take him off life support, against our will. I asked him directly to be personal in our last moments, why the urgency when asking for a few more hours to get a 2nd opinion. He stood up, callous and zero compassion "this is how it is", wouldn't answer me and again reiterated 45 min cutting him off. Thankfully the nurse mentioned part of the reason, showing compassion and answering my questions noticing we were parents in our worst possible moment. Carr on the other hand, zero personal touch in a hospital where people are oftentimes in there worst moments. Also when we walked into the room to say goodbye, Dr Carr poked out of a room down the hallway like he was in some position of power watching it unfold at his decision.
