Dr. Graham Verlee, MD

I am a transgender woman who in August of 2023 underwent a bilateral orchiectomy with Dr. VerLee. His handling of the whole experience was amazing - never once did he make me feel weird about being trans, or what I wanted for myself. Plus, when another doc saw his sutures (all internal) a few weeks later, they were quite impressed with his work! While in the long run, I look at a positive outcome, Dr. Verlee’s lack of follow-up with my excessive bleeding after the operation could have killed me. He really did try to help me at my time of need. He did my prostate surgery and I ended up with a long-term problem. I think he felt responsible for my conditions have my surgery. He referred me to another surgeon at Fore River in Portland. This new doctor was very helpful and supportive.

Dr. Verlee has excellent skills and the patience of a saint.

Dr. Verlee is fantastic. He has a great sense of humor, good bedside manner, and communicated very clearly with me. He performed my vasectomy, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process and it went off without a hitch. Very professional and I would recommend to anyone

Not Recommended.

Dr. Verlee was excellent. Had HOLEP for very large prostate, age 71. Procedure supposed to have least amount of side effects but I got them all, incontinence, ED, mild peronies from scarring (my diagnosis). That being said, urination is excellent and probably would have done the same had I known my results ( and the doctor did say these could happen). But I just wanted to pass on my experience to others.

Took the time to listen, explained all treatments in a way that we could understand. Very through. We are very glad that we found him. Highly recommend.

The best urologist I have ever met. He takes the time to listen and gives you all of your treatment options. You feel like you are his only patient and you never feel rushed. Highly recommended!

Over a period of two years he has cared for me and he has help me to make the right decision for me each step along the way. The staff in his office are just amazing. The procedure that I had recently was exactly as described. I am very pleased with the care he and his team provided.
