took half my toe which needed done but his aftercare was lacking and then told me I needed more amputation. Got a 2nd opinion from Northside Hospital and said he was wrong. Looking for a lawyer now since he almost got my whole toe.

Absolutely horrible. No integrity whatsoever. Have been working with him since October and required surgery to repair a plantar plate tear. The first surgery was cancelled by the Dr. because he forgot he was on-call that day. Rescheduled to Early February, and learned just two weeks prior to the surgery that it was being cancelled because Dr. Bahnson was no longer in compliance with Wellstar for this type of procedure and likely would not be able to perform it until late in 2020. He knew this was an issue at my pre-op visit in January and never said a word. What kind of Dr. allows his patient to suffer in pain for four months and behaves with such reckless disregard for his patient's time and suffering? Sharon Ferruccio, January 24, 2020

Dr. Bahnson is now located at WellStar Podiatry in Vinings Health Park. He saw me for an acute, complex foot trauma. He did a great job of explaining the problem, treating me, and providing me with supplies and instructions to reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence. This was a lengthy appointment that included X-rays and an injection, but he treated me like I was the only patient he had on the schedule and patiently addressed all my questions. I would give him ten stars if I could!
