Best Radiologist and Radiologist Assistant
Dr. Scruggs and his assistant Carol were amazing! When you are diagnosed with any type of cancer, you are scared to say the least—and the thought of internal radiation is terrifying. However, Dr. Scruggs, his assistant Carol, and the rest of their care team made me feel at ease. Dr. Scruggs was very explanatory and kind in his care for me. His assistant Carol rarely left my side. She was a calming voice throughout the whole process. I received excellent care throughout my treatment here at Texas Oncology Dallas.

Dr.Scruggs treated me with SBRT radiation over a short period of time, but then followed me for several weeks. His nurse, Kimberley Meixner, was also fantastic and answered all my questions and called me every week to see how I was doing. They both were professional, compassionate, and very caring during my time under their care.
