Dr. Greer Mitchell, MD

Although Dr. G came well recommended to us, our experience was negative. Meetings always felt rushed, and like she was only half paying attention to what we were saying. Oftentimes, she was checking her watch or computer. Dr. G made no effort to build any type of rapport with our daughter. She was just very clinical. My husband and I felt that the concerns we voiced regarding our daughter's treatment were disregarded. Our emails often did not get a reply. When our daughter ended up having a severe episode that required her to be hospitalized, Dr. G seemed like she could care less. Honestly, my feeling was that she was happy to have us off her hands. Some of her poor decisions as a provider led to my daughter's breakdown, which she is now hospitalized for! So I paid $100's of dollars out of pocket for every 20-30 minute session; to have this be the result?? I am furious, but even more heartbroken for my daughter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Our daughter has an eating disorder. No one ever wants to talk about this issue let alone tell you where to go. The Hospital just wanted to send our daughter away to a clinic but Dr Mitchell said she could help us. Our daughter is now getting better at home with us. It took a lot of work on the Dr's part but our daughter is getting better because Dr Mitchell cared enough to help us. If you have a child with an eating disorder fight to get her to Dr Mitchell.

I do not believe this doctor has the ability to think rationally, let alone charge an absurdly high-hourly rate to provide cognitive support to young, malleable children. Clearly, science and math are not Dr. Gunther's area of expertise.
