Dr. Ruelas is intelligent and knowledgeable. However, he is curt at times and rushes through his examinations. He can definitely improve on his people skills -- he appears to be impatient and lacks compassion for his patients.

Horrible care provider. Misdiagnosed my mother’s I njury due to failure to order diagnostic tests and not taking her seriously. Severe injury and unnecessary pain because of his negligence!

Run, run and run faster from primary medical group. Although I have positive and negative feelings regarding Dr. Ruelas, overall I definitely agree he is above average. That said, the office staff and more importantly procedures are abhorrent! They expect the patients to be responsible with flawed procedures that more than likely will result in billing problems with Medicare and subsequently any other insurance. Just run away before you are on hold listening to their blatant self promotion.

I cannot believe how ignorant dr ruelas was about thyroid. His practice was using outdated research and he was unwilling to have even the most basic blood work done because he said he wouldn't know how to read it. Worst dr experience I have had, and I have had quite a few.

Very unprofessional staff that needs more training in customer services. They also need help with communication skills in regards to relaying records to patients and Staff/Doctors . Overall bad experiences would not recommend taking your child to this Doctor because requesting a doctors note is too much trouble for them!
