Run, don’t walk, to another dentist!
My husband went to Dr Anderson for a consultation for a dental implant. The consultation went okay and Dr Anderson offered to do the implant right then. My husband chose to go forward with the implant. He was given the numbing injections and hooked up to the vital sign machine. Then Dr Anderson asked me to wait in the lobby. Fifteen minutes later, my husband was done getting a bone graft and implant. The only instructions he was given was to come back in six months to check the implant. No post-op instructions were given. My husband has had several implants in the past and his pain after this implant was ten times worse than any of his previous implants. His healing took several weeks before he was able to eat without pain. Two months after the implant was surgically placed by Dr Anderson, the implant fell out of his jaw. In two months, it should have been integrated with the jaw bone quite well. We ended up having to go to another dentist to have the surgery done correctly.

Rushed, not personal
I have felt rushed each time I have to visit. The quoted price verbally is not what I was billed. I wasn't given a consultation prior to an appliance being ordered. I felt like I was in the way, not a patient with actual concerns.

Very Unsettling, Don't Trust
I was there for a preliminary exam. While discussing the charges for the services I needed, Dr. Anderson was in the room also and did some inappropriate things that really creeped me out. In that moment he lost any confidence I may have had in him as a person or a doctor. I told his office that I won't be having the work we had discussed done there after all. I know in my gut that I have absolutely made the right decision.I have an emergent condition that's only going to get worse since it's going to take a month or more just to be evaluated again, and likely another month to actually get the treatment I need. I don't for an instant regret my decision NOT to have Dr. Anderson treat me. It's just probably going to take a lot longer than I'll want finding a reputable doctor who knows the boundaries and observes them.I cannot recommend this doctor. I don't feel at all comfortable with him and don't want to have him do ANY work on me, much less be under anesthesia with him in charge.

Overpriced and horrible bedside manner
I called ahead and told them I was too infected to have him work on me. I was hoping they would give me a stronger antibiotic and have me come in after it wasn’t infected. They told me to come in anyway. After what seemed like forever in the chair bleeding and in pain from him trying to numb me he says is it ok if I just knock you out? I said yes because I felt like I was being tortured and just wanted it to end. I woke up to find out that he charged me an extra 800$ to knock me out. He never even used my name but referred to me as “this guy”. Do yourself a favor and find a better dentist

A great advocate for his patients
Dr. Anderson is very comforting and explains procedures thoroughly before committing to them. He is easy to speak with and listens intently to what his patients have to say. Dr. Anderson doesn’t rush to surgery and will not try talk you into a procedure that is not necessary. I was ready to commit to major surgery when he suggested some minor - and significantly less costly - solutions. I have referred friends and family to Dr. Anderson and will continue to do so.

Dr. Anderson was knowledgeable, efficient, had a great "bedside" manner, and a fair price. His staff was pleasant, too.

My experience with Dr Anderson was traumatic at best. It was a long ordeal that resulted in a hospitalization. This should have been a simple extraction. I ended up with sepsis and a four day stay in the hospital. I attempted to file a report with DOPL, the hospital, and even a lawyer. I would stay as far away from this person as possible. After my experience people came out of the woodwork to tell me if similar ordeals with him. Even hospital staff mentioned issues with him in the past.

Was the worst experience !!!! Went in for a tooth extraction .Left in alot of pain. Ended up going back which was a huge mistake.. Said i had a bone that needed removed in my gums where he removed the tooth . After that procedure I now am missing half my gums on that side and also in the process he damaged another tooth which i ended up going to a different oral surgeon to have it removed ..HORRIBLE !!! I have never had such a bad experience. Very ruthless and the outcome is what i have to live

I came in expecting to have a tooth implant, but didn't expect the level of comfort and care. I was shown exactly what the procedure was, catered specifically for me. I left with an understanding of the work and the costs involved, and felt very comfortable about the level of care I would receive. The receptionists at front desk were kind and helpful. The nurse was kind. The procedure went well and I appreciate all involved! Thanks for making this a great experience.
