I would not recommend someone to go Dr. Bonavia after my appointment with him. He barely asked questions, seemed frustrated that I was there, said he didn't think there was anything wrong and just left. He didn't bring clarity to any of my symptoms or explain to me my heart rhythms that seemed abnormal that my family doctor was concerned about. He was there for about two minutes and then just left. Again, I would recommend not going to him.

My grandmother is seen by Dr. Bonavita and he is very thorough and knows everything about the heart. He is not warm and fuzzy, but he is extremely competent and up front with information.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Never ever, ever, ever come here if you've got any sort of heart concerns or problems. Absolute worst medical care I've ever received. This "doctor" had the audacity to smirk the entire time as I explained my grievances then walked out of the room with no explanation or consultation other than "the nurse will be in to check out".

HMy father was going to Dr. Bonavita for several years. He put his first pacemaker in. But when it needed replaced he kept saying it was elective and was not in any hurry to do anything. My father had two falls because his pacemaker didn't keep up, the battery was dying faster than it was suppose to, because his needs where so great. The last fall put him in a nursing home for 20 days for therapy. I took him to the Cleveland Clinic and they replaced the pacemaker two days after our initial visi

I was recently in the hospital for 4 days and had a follow up appointment with Dr Bonavita about a month later. He came into the room for about a minute and a half and was about to walk out on me after I told him I was feeling great, did not need medication anymore, was able to ween myself off and the family doctor approved of this. He told me "well there's no need to see me, you should've cancelled today". Did not ask if I had any further questions or anything- just left.
