Dr. Gregory Dowling, MD

Dr Dowling is very easy to talk with and is very attentive. Also compassionate. He seems genuinely interested in keeping me healthy. And never judgmental. If you want someone you can trust he is the one. His staff has always been very good to work with.

Monday I saw Dr Dowling, the same day I called, for a lingering issue that abruptly got worse over the weekend. Upon seeing me (At my scheduled time of 2:45P) he was on the phone scheduling an Ultrasound because he believed my issue was at the point where definitive action was needed and he attacked it. I had the Ultrasound and Dr Dowling stayed in direct contact with me well into the evening scheduling an emergency surgery the following day. He worked to find a proper surgeon that evening, and followed up with me at 8a with details as to what I needed to do. As well, he followed up with me after the surgery and I felt as if he was with me the entire time and he was my advocate, never feeling like I was passed on to another physician. I am Thankful for the precise execution of my care, and all without losing any sense of being a patient and not a number. Patient care at its finest. I was saved from something with potentially life threatening consequences... I am a fan of Dr Dowling.

Absolutely love Dr. Dowling! His staff always return my calls within 1 day and he never made me feel rushed in my appointments and took the time to really know how I was doing (physically, mentally, etc.) to get a well rounded view of my health/ issues. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a PCP in Fort Wayne.

Was a patient as well as my children for a few years only to be lied to about a diagnosis on my child. Found the paper work IN the office FROM his staff in less then 5 min. Informed them of this and was given excuses on why it wasn't seen or that they needed to have a more current diagnosis. However didn't clear the fact that I was lied to provided that HE was the referring Dr for the diagnosis. NOTES ON IT DONT JUST DISAPPEAR

Dr. Dowling is thorough, very knowledgeable and explains every aspect of my health issues with me to become as healthy as possible.

My husband and I absolutely love Dr. G! He takes the time to listen and he cares about our well being both mentally and physically.

He's smart, and he listens. He could benefit from a bit more study of pharmacology and side-effects (especially on the elderly) etc. We sometimes have a problem with his staff's responding to phone requests for prescriptions or information. I asked for a way to communicate electronically, and asked for refills last week. Neither request has been addressed. In a week. Not good.

Doctor Dowling is one heck of a Physician! I am a 49 Year old with diabetes, and many other health issues! Dr. Dowling is hands down the best family doctor I have ever had! These days when it's all about the all mighty dollar, most will rush you through your appointment to fit a many as they can in a day. Not with doctor Dowling! He takes a personal interest in my health, and sets me on the right path! My wife is also a patient of Dr. Dowling as well, and she couldn't be happier with his service

I was in need of a Family Doctor and was lucky to find Dr Dowling. He has a great personality, very knowledgeable and takes time to listen to his patients concerns. His staff has been very accommodating as well. I have recommended family and friends. Great Doctor and Staff!

The best Doctor I've ever seen.

I wouldn't know how good of a doctor Dr. Dowling is because his office turn me away based on who my previous doctor was. Both my husband and I were looking for a new family doctor after my doctor left Lutheran Medical Group. My husband was not a patient of the same doctor as me. I went into Dr. Dowling's office to get any paperwork I may have needed to fill out to become his patient and was informed that my husband could become a patient of Dr. Dowling but I could not due to my previous doctor.

Takes time to get to know his patients. Very knowledgeable and his hours are very accommodating for people who work during the day. Staff is friendly and easy to get in contact with if needed. I would recommend if you are looking for a family doctor.

The office has HORRIBLE staff and does not do product management well. I made an appointment at a certain time per the Dr's request to get an IUD just to get a call the day of saying that they didn't have anymore and they would have to do it next month. I'm looking for another PCP since I cannot trust this office. I have been prescribed the incorrect oral birth contraception and when I told the staff I got glared at with no apology or change of prescription. No help if you keep them accountable!

Dr. Dowling is considerate and thorough. It is easy to get a nurse on the phone too.
