Ive had two episodes in past w hospitals and anesthesia that did not go well. Uncaring, unattentive. Caused permanent harm. Left with anxiety which tends to go to ceiling now... Had surgery recently and this MD listens to concerns re anesthesia, explains and cares a great deal for his patients. He even held my hand when I reached out during surgery. He calmed me more than any drug ever has. Also the conscious anesthesia went very well. Hes the #1 anesthesiologist in Grand Rapids in my book. If you have a choice, request him.
