Dr. Klingenstein was my surgeon for 2 hip replacements. The first in June and the 2nd in October 2024. I had been to 2 other doctors prior but wasn't sure I wanted to do it until I met Dr. Klingenstein. I felt a confidence with him that I didn't with anyone else and so I put my care in his hands, and he did not disappoint. I am 68 years old and couldn't walk a block without stopping at least 4 times, I couldn't put my shoes on normally or pick up anything from the floor. All of that has changed because of Dr. Klingenstein and I couldn't be more grateful. I was lucky to have found him in my search and would recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor surgeon. Thank you so much for giving me my life back. You are the best!!

This dr treated my 82 year old husband following knee replacement surgery with impatience. Sugesting he at need additional surgery to relieve muscle tightness due (in his opinion) my husband not meeting this drs expectation. My husband never had post surgery testing and still walks with a limp but will not go back to this dr who makes him feel bad about his recovery Evan when he went to PT 3x week.

HIp Replacement By Dr. Klingenstein
Dr. Klingenstien put my wife and I at ease from the start with the surgery and the whole process of getting my left hip replaced. Two years ago he did my right hip. He and his staff make it easy througnout the whole process. Every step of the way you know what to expect. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who is in need of his services.

Dr. Gregory Klingenstein review - thank you !
Dr, Gregory Klingenstein is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who performed hip replacement surgery on my left hip, which had intense osteoarthritis and no cartilage remaining. The surgery was successful, and within a few days, the pain associated with the 'problem hip' was relieved, and at six weeks post-op, I feel great, having recovered from the surgery itself. His expertise, communication, intelligence, and overall care he provided was fantastic. He also has a great team that supports him. Thank you for helping me, Dr, K.

Dr. Gregory Klingenstein review - thank you ! – Apr 10, 2024

I recently had Dr. Klingenstein revise a surgery done by a different doctor at another practice. A year and a half prior to my surgery with Dr. Klingenstein, I was unable to make it through a grocery store, or walk up a flight of steps. Shortly after Dr. Klingenstein did my surgery, I was up on my feet again with no pain at all. I appreciated his honesty through every pre and post operative appointment - he truly knows what he is talking about. I would recommend Dr. Klingenstein to anyone. As a 25 year old, I felt like I was able to get my life back after being restricted the last 2 years.

I’m a 40 year tennis player who had reconstructive surgery about 27 years ago for a torn ACL. Over that time my knee developed arthritis and it became harder to run on the court without pain. Dr. Klingenstein is also a tennis player and was recommended to me through a friend of mine who played tennis with him and who had 2 hips replaced by Dr. Klingenstein. I decided to take his advice, and I’m glad I did. The whole procedure from pre-op through post-op couldn’t have gone better. Two months after surgery my pain is diminishing, my flexibility and strength is improving and I’m hoping to be back on the tennis courts very soon.

would highly recommend Dr. Klingenstein
Although this was my first operation I felt totally confident with Dr. Klingenstein. He was very thorough in explaining my hip condition and what the operation would entail. The hip replacement surgery and recovery went smoothly just as he said it would. Thank you so much for helping me feel normal again.

Horrible is one word that I could use to describe my appointment with this doctor or so-called doctor. I was referred to him by other physicians in his practice. My hip has a torn labrum, which is something he should be able to correct if he’s such a good surgeon when I got into his office he told me that he would not perform the surgery on me because my BMI was not 35 or below, I am a patient who has lost a lot of weight after having gastric sleeve surgery and for someone to sit there and look down on you and tell you that you are too big. He might as well just called me fat he told me that he would not perform the surgery because I would break his tools , it’s very totally unprofessional and ridiculous to say that to someone I left his office in tears and cried the entire way home. I would never recommend this man to anyone, nor do I even feel like going back to that practice even though there was two other doctors there that were decent. I’m guessing all the five star ratings that he did get from people that he didn’t call fat and were skinny. Also, my appointment was scheduled for one time and I didn’t get taken back for a very long time after my appointment start time then to be treated like that it’s just horrible.

Dr Gregory Klingenstein Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Klingenstein did an amazing job on my recent hip replacement surgery! I had heard of hissuccess and was recommended to him by a family member who had a great outcome withhip replacement as well. I was up and walking immediately after surgery and within a week I was no longer using a walker and had moved on to using a cane! He was awesome!!

Finally, hip pain is in my review mirror!
Had hip osteoarthritis for far too long. After I reached my threshold for pain and suffering, fate brought me Dr. Klingenstein. I had my hip replacement on June 23, 2023. Prior to my surgery date, Dr. Klingenstein had me doing important preparations which I followed to the T. Those preparations made my results extremely successful. My quality of life is fantastic and I am now pain free. He is a gifted and professional doctor and I'm glad I found him. Being a surgeon is definitely his calling. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

LEFT HIP REPLACEMENT
Doctor Klingenstein replaced my left hip in 2017. It was Iife changing. I went from hardly being able to walk, to climbing Croagh Patrick in Ireland 2018 , skiing 2019. It's been 6 years since and I don't feel any pain or issues. The only issue I have is that I should have had him do it sooner. He's honest and straightforward. Other places will tell you to lose weight before they will perform any type of surgery, but I believe he knew that you have to be mobile to be able to exercise. I have since lost 60 pounds because I am mobile now. I cannot thank him enough for my new life.

On January 4th of this year doctor Klingenstein performed a right total knee replacement on me. I used a walker for one week and a cane for another week. I received physical therapy for 2 weeks at which time I was dismissed because I was doing so well. Despite the fact that it was a right knee I was able to drive myself to my second week post-operative visit. I know that I did well because I was determined to but I cannot praise this doctor enough for his skill and performance. He also replaced my right hip on April 16th of 2018. I had an amazing recovery with that as well. I have recommended him to friends and I will recommend him to you as well.

Had a hip replacement and went home that day. Used the walker for 2 days and didn't need to use the cane. No pain and resumed life's activities in 2 weeks. Great experience! Great surgeon! Jane

A Skilled Perfectionist
My total hip replacement occurred on August 10, 2022 and it was a total success! I was out of bed and walking around the hospital on the same day of surgery. The hospital and doctors' office staff were very professional. I followed the recovery instructions, including Physical Therapy, to the letter resulting in a good recovery. After my first week at home I was able to climb stairs in my split-level home. And exactly 2 weeks after surgery I stopped using my walker, cane and I was authorized to drive my vehicle again. Dr Klingenstein was thorough & patient in explaining my surgical options. He did not persuade my decision for treatment options. He went over the procedures for the different options several times. Post surgery, I studied the x-ray of my new hip and I was relieved to see the symmetrical precision in the placement of my femur prosthesis & socket component. (I affectionally refer to it as my bionic hip). There is NO discrepancy in my leg-length. I am so happy with my hip.

Within three months in 2022 Dr. Gregory Klingenstein replaced both of my knees. He's very professional but down to earth.......great surgeon......saw my own X-rays afterward, the prosthetics are in the perfect positions ......had no trouble with either of my knees, they healed up without any problems or surprises.....very slight scars....the pain that had been with me for 20 years is totally gone. He's a great surgeon with a great sense of humor.
